Ha , thanks a lot guys. Yeah I was looking into Vanguard for a whike , but someone currently in the beta right now said the function system was horrible, the way you time attacks with having to do things. I duno , maybe it's just him. But I was and STILL am really looking forward to it, just hope I can try it soon. Guess I'm stuck with WoW / BF2 For a while = / . Although , my guild is currently in queue and should be getting into Darkfall soon to try it , that'll be fun.
EVE online has got to the better of the bunch. There is a no war grind to it though that you don't realize until your left wondering where to go. Its still trying to take off, but when I first played it I was impressed by its massiveness. It has to probably be the largest map based game out there, but most of it revolves around pirate hunting and farming. There are hundreds of guilds there and if you like crafting, it has that and you can build virtually anything to sell it anywhere. The trial is worth checking out at least, though its not exciting enough to stick to for too long unless you find a group that hunts evil players... It levels up easy enoug and in about 2 weeks you will probably eventually get to a point where you have to wait for the billion ilsk?
Yeah. I tried EVE , and thought it was a fun game. But the whole "Spce Only" deal isn't exactly appealing to me. I like to be Groun , water , and air , or just ground / Water. For me , space is an extra, a fun feature. But to only be in space gets boring. When it comes to a game like EVE , it's going to draw distinct players, do to it's economically affiliated ways of playing and it's ability to draw so many people into to an entrepenuer sort of environment. With a game such as this , had I started ebfore there weer "richer than hell" people , I may have gotten into it. But for now I may just have to settle for WoW and SWG until Darkfall / Conan / Vanguard come rollin in. Those are the three I've come to look at. I'd love to get people's opinion on these 3 games though. I've researched them all thoroughly , but personal forums discussions pwn it all. If you see anything besides these three coming in the enxt year, point em on out.

Yeah their UI right now is not really functional if thats what you mean, but you gotta remember that they are still in a pretty early stage and are just testing a few aspects of the game, there is still months of beta for them to really smooth everything out, thats what beta is for after all. By open beta (if they do have one) Vanguard should have a lot more of its features in for testing and it should be polished up a lot better. Beta is Beta after all.
I recently checked out Dark Ages of Camelot, and its actually not the bad. Maybe a little old, but right now its setup perfect you don't have to worry about a lot of noise from game errors. It supports taking over other people's countries and balances out nice. Has everything WOW does and then some. I think it is better built in the tasks than WOW, because you can ask anyone for a simple task in addition to your main "quest" journeys. Sweet interface.
