From 1-50 in Swtor has no content that is gated period. Gear is not content you can still get into all the content. From 1-50 you can complete every daily/weekly and objective. You can claim every reward (as a f2p you can't equip every item though) so again 1-50 the entire vanilla game you can play for free.
As for the rest of your copy/paste gibberish I stopped reading once it was a clear copy/paste.
You may wish to check again, as on many reward tabs there is a greyed out component that shows a loot box which it specifically states as inaccessible to non-subscribers. Items barred from players is something that directly impacts the quality of play through limiting player stat progression, and regardless of if you want to call it content, it is a part of the game's assets and functionality, which constitutes it being content. This also does nothing for the fact that multiple game modes are affected by restrictions and impact the ability to complete certain quests.
The core 1-50 player progression is F2P is the only claim you're making.
As for your last comment...
"According to Alexa/ComScore data, most players of LoL are male, and most do not have a college education -- that's because many of them are too young to have earned a degree yet. Officially, over 90 percent of LoL players are male, and 85 percent of them are aged 16-30."
This piece right here was the only component I copied from anywhere as it was easier for me to do that than to try and futz about with a succinct explanation of the situation myself.
Free to Lose means this quite frankly; If you have no life whatsoever you can probably get everything a pay player has and more. If you have a life then pay the monthly charge and enjoy the game.

Again not one quest from level 1-50 is gated. I'd love for you to tell me what quest you keep referring to .
Yes I keep referring to 1-50 again this isn't a welfare program it's a business. You want to play something for completely free head down to the local shelter and play cards with a homeless guy.
Yes I'm very aware you have a full spreadsheet of links you can copy/paste from.

I already pointed out that the game mode daily and weekly quests are gated by the limited ability to access the modes and therefore insufficient capacity to complete said quests. Beyond that, if you make any character and play then through the core game, you will find the gated rewards.
And you missed the point about the core 1-50 being the only thing you can claim as wholly F2P, as certainly people do need to monetize the title somehow, but that's again the fact that it shouldn't be done at the detriment to the quality of the gameplay. That it is the only thing you're presently able to bring up as evidence of anything, it's not a favorable circumstance.
And like the other thread, your ad-hominem attacks does nothing to further the discussion. Linking sources from where one got information is generally seen as helpful for readers as it gives them a means to vet the information themselves. At this point I don't care if you do that or not, but you can at least refrain your commentary to reasonable discussion rather than trolling.

Again you are wrong just like in the last thread you got closed due to your inaccurate false posts. You have access to every game mode and can complete weekly quest and daily quest in every mode.
Again it's not welfare yes if you don't pay you SHOULD have a restrictions you SHOULD have things that have limited it's a business clearly you have never ran or managed a business if you believe they should give everything away and are not allowed to charge for things.
But when it comes to Swtor 1-50 is about as free as it gets .

The other thread isn't closed. It was the progressively off-tangent attacks that were being thrown by a certain individual that caused a moderator to temporarily lock the thread and delete a couple things. It's still active.
You have finite access to a few game modes, and the daily and weekly quests require more completions in most cases than are obtainable. If you pitch a perfect game and get a bonus score in all matches you can technically complete the daily for the PvP, that's about the only merit you can claim to have for that argument.
And again, "it's not welfare" is an entirely facetious remark as the demand has never been to make a F2P game completely free, but to not monetize it at the expense of the gameplay. Some quality of life, convenience items, progression enhancements, etc are all fine and dandy things. The problem is the manner in which it's sold to players by what is in many cases essentially a bait and switch or other tactic that expressly makes the player witness or "own" something that they can't actually utilize, complete, or otherwise until they pay up. To be informed of additional quality content that one can purchase is perfectly acceptable, to drop it in a person's inventory and then tell them it's "just for looksies" is cruel.

If you like a game there is no free. You want content rolling in and the doors to stay open, spend money. If everyone plays for free we will have no games. I hate freeloaders.
Not a single "free" game is really free if you want the best quality. And If you take that quality you pay 10x more then any PTP game asks and STILL have less quality.
So really: No competition. Free can never win.
And thats jsut it...What we often see is the games we are paying for are no better than the games that are free....Often the games that you pay for end up being free a short time later.

This problem is mostly to do with stagnation of the market in general as focus moves away from them in addition to developers simply not delivering on the quality standards expected in general.
Does remind me of a point to be made again about the differences in perceived standards of quality between B2P and F2P that switching to an F2P model is used as the strategy to save such titles.

I admit, I didn't read the whole thread. But I for one don't like free games. Sub games were always more fun as they always added new content, had a budget to keep people fixing and improving the games, and didn't rely on pay to win, everyone was equial. Free trials are good, but it only takes a couple days to know if you want to sub or now.
Free to play also is usually filled with gold farmers, cheaters, etc. Sell me a game for $60 and charge me $15 a month to play and that game will probably rock. I'm tired of the free to play, $5 for the silver package with one extra character slot and 10% xp bonus, $20 for the gold package.. Ugh. Pay to win.
At this point and time a quality title that offers something "different" and charges a fee. There are enough quality standard themepark titles that offer free play so that part of the market is closed off to a required payment model for a new title... barring a strong, preexisting IP.
Personally it's about current titles not being worth payment than not being willing to pay for an MMO. I'm far more willing to invest in future titles that offer something different.
If you like a game there is no free. You want content rolling in and the doors to stay open, spend money. If everyone plays for free we will have no games. I hate freeloaders.
Well that's a bit harsh. These players who may be playing without paying a cent are still participating in an important part of the economical cycle of the game. They are keeping the population up so it doesn't feel like the game is a graveyard. I don't think its fair to blame them if a company allows them to have a free ride. A: Its the company's choice and B: They are still helping to keep the game alive by keeping the game population lively enough to court those who do want to spend money whatever you or I may feel about the process.
Nothing wrong trying a game risk free. I'm talking about when your having fun and sticking around, you should chuck something into the pot to keep the game going. There is no real free game, someone needs to pay something to keep the lights on.
There's no such thing as a free to play game, no matter what labels they put on it. Someone has to pay for it. If it isn't you, then the guy next to you has to pay twice as much. That's all free to play games are. Get a smaller subset of people to pay more rather than having everyone pay an equal amount (subscription).
Something like NWN series, maybe open source. If the users have the ability to create content, but you provide the server, you will end up with nearly endless content. Ultimately you decide what goes into the game and, if done correctly, you can even compensate the creators for their work.
I believe they went extremely too far with this free to play education , but if you ask reality yes FREE to play is here to stay , regardless of ethics or moral law.

Someone does not mean everyone. If whales are willing to pay for the game, and devs let others play for free, is there a reason why some should not enjoy their hospitality?
If you enjoy a tv show, do you send the tv station, or the production company a check to support the shows?

Yea you do...ever heard of HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, now Netflix and Amazon with their original shows.
Kind of an obvious question really. Make the quality better enough that it's worth paying for. I've said a few times on here that I never have an issue paying for a game that grips me and makes me interested enough to be willing to make that show of trust with money. I paid for IRE games for years. I've subbed to WoW for years. I've spent more money on Avalon than I care to admit!
Though I think in this day and age pay for perks / pay for enhancements / pay for getting to the content faster is where the real money is at.

Worth is relative. If your competition is FREE, you have to have much better quality.
Personally, I don't see any sub-game (aside from WOW, which became boring to me and i quit) is more fun than the free alternatives (or b2p alternatives).
I believe they went extremely too far with this free to play education , but if you ask reality yes FREE to play is here to stay , regardless of ethics or moral law.
Free to play is here to stay, no question about that.
But what some people fail to realize, is that pay to play is also here to stay.
Lots of people prefer p2p, and even more are willing to pay if the game suits their tastes/expectations.

That's not what was said. It said "If you enjoy a tv show, do you send the tv station, or the production company a check to support the shows?". I answered yes in some cases you do.

Yes, and I pay money monthly for a DVR and am about to sub to Hulu so I can watch those "free" shows without commercial interruption.

There's no such thing as free. MMOs have a running cost and mmos have a development cost to keep the content and balancing flowing. What you do have is different payment models and different target profit margins. What actually matters ultimately is the quality of this content and balancing output rate. Wow muddies the waters because it offers low quality for a high price and gets away with it because ths core pkayer base are attached to long server character and achievment records - but that is very very close to collapsing I believe.
