in EVE Online
Ok my reason for this is because i downloaded Eve-Online i put the patch onto it and i got the 14 day free trial off of the freatures page for eve and when i went to play it never worked so finaly i figured out it was my graphic driver i got it fixed and when i went to play the game my account was expired even thoe i never got a chance to even get on and play it.

Were am i going to get another key to ? There isnt any left for a free 14 days free trial on mmorpg and they dont have the free trial on Eve so im stuck were i am.

From the forum post that says get your keys here.... in any event i have sent a key to the email in your profile... if u dont get it then ask in the key thread by snakey and someone else will send you another one.

There's a thread here that reads "Need a free trial?... Read it! You could also create another MMORPG user. Other sites have trials too like Stratics and Fileplanet. Hell, this month's PCG came with a trial.
All in all, I think it's you who sucks!

People are very defensive of this game, probably cause like me its their last refuge as far as decient mmo's are concerned...
Plus you did insult the game without even actually playing it... imho it makes you look pretty ignorant. If I were you I would have made a post describing your problem and ask for help instead of the norm "This game suxs" bs...

Listen if your going to dislike Eve, please pick one of the perfectly exceptable, if disputed, arguements. DO NOT say a game sucks because a trial (which you can get again and again, with no credit card) has ran out. May I please request that you go to the page and spend a minute to get another? thank you.

Hey now, lets keep this thread from becoming inflamed with OP bashing. So he made a mistake and didn't know that he could get a new trial key, it happens, does that mean you should immediately bash him for it, not IMO. Instead of driving the OP away from this game before he even has had the chance to try it, either by bashing the OP or saying that the game isn't for him, try to help him like the first 2 posters that reply did. I could greatly help the Eve community instead of hurting it. FFS some of the comments piss me off because it seems to me that some of you didn't even bother to read the first few replies to the OP, those people helped him instead of bashing, although the first reply sounded like he got a good laugh out of it. Dont instinctively begin to bash a person, could it be that he also has a life outside of the computer that he cares for a bit more than fixing his computer problems, either that or he might not be so technically inclined like some of you. I'll would include a comment of the jobs I do about people and computers but I don't want to anger more than I have too. There are people out there that are just like that and they play eve. So how about leading them into the light instead of throwing them into darkness. As for the OP be careful of what you say so we don't get posts like this again. These guys sometimes seem to defend the game with such a religious fevor that even some religious zealots can't even match when they think that the game is being bashed. Well I'm tired and I have a report to write, so forgive the rant and leave me be.

Badluck to the OP, sometimes things happen. Hell I missed out on 3-4 days of my trial all because I Started it a day before RMR patch. Things happen, once fixed there are Many, many trials around, most run for 14 days then there is the 'buddy' key system so you'll always have a chance to trial. Hell I am trialing one of the new asian 'bloodlines' at the moment, I think I might keep the crazy guy and his Moa >.<

the problem is that he made a thread called "EVE sucks".
this is not good for the game. imagine the first 20 posters would all be "EVE is a piece of garbage" "EVE sucks so bad" "EVE is boring" "EVE ....."
someone interested in the game might look in the forum and would not even bother to read the posts. if so many call it crap, it is not worth my time, is it?
the OP deliberately chose this path of flaming a game he has not even played with a HEADLINE that intends to keep people from getting into the game.
he has deserved the worst kind of flames I can think of. his attitude is purely destructive.
if he really WANTED help, he would have said so in the headline. many people would have helped him immediately.
apart from that: that guy doesnt belong to EVE. I would not want him in the game. so again no reason to be nice

Look man i was tired, and call me a carebear again and i will personally annoy in-game you for the rest of the games life.
. hell, haven't you ever done something similar to this out of frustration because you couldn't play a game, or at least thought of it. Granted some of the people truly do deserve the bashing they get.
So the guy made the mistake, let him be. Personally I would like another player to kill...err assist in the game. Adds more fun to the game when they "accidentally" travel into low sec.

I have been playing the free 14 trial account as well and I have been plagued with issues and none of them related to my PC.
I have been stuck in space for hours at a time and the thing with the windows all popping open when ever you make a jump or enter/ leave a station and the lag OMFG!
this game has just undergone a hardware upgrade to fix stability issues and i swear they must have down graded because I can't believe this company is still in business with issues like this with even worse hardware.

Edit: Or you have a problem using your jump drive. It doesn't take a nuclear physicist to say "Hey, I'm jammed against the side of station. Hmmm... how do I stop? OH! A STOP BUTTON! **click*** K now lets move down a little bit and try again."

It has periods, but it was fixed in the last update when they installed 70 new high end servers. If it really is THAT bad... then it's you. You either lack the video card req or your ram sucks.

EVE is not a game for brainless morons. EVE isn't WoW, you can't mindlessly go about killing shit.
If you look at all the bad posts about EVE anywhere on this site, I think 2 out of all the ones who don't like it have halfway intelligent posts. If you look at everyone who makes intelligent posts they are most likely playing EVE. This is no coincidence(sp?) and it's not a random assesment. It's a pure fact.

If it were My PC's fault they wouldn't have to reboot th server over and over again now would they dumba $$

And you're right on 1 point you can't go around killing stuff like you do in wow because the game locks and leaves you stranded
some of us like some challenge in games but this game has 0 challenge for anyone with even half a mind.
