So, first we start seeing non MMO's and now we're getting console games? WTF is going on with this site?
Maybe it's time the site just admitted defeat and renamed itself to something more appropriate because it's obvious that MMO's are no longer the focus.
Will you people just STOP already? They've been covering other stuff for over a year. Get over it or go somewhere else. At the very least, stop posting this whiny crap.

Nope, I'll post whatever I like, thanks very much. I come to MMORPG.COM to see news about, erm let me think, MMORPG's. Fuck me, there's a surprise.
I don't come here to read about single player games, FPS games, Flight Sims, Multiplayer games that pretend to be MMO's or console games.
As long as I'm allowed to express an opinion I reserve the right to do just that. If that opinion just happens to be about the name of this site no longer reflecting the games it's reporting about then guess what? I'm gonna express it.
Then don't read these articles? You're on a public site, catering to a large amount of readers, it's not all about what you want...

i tend to think dark souls is just trying to cash in on the name at this point. how many years between 1 and 2? and now 3 is just about here? not a day one purchase for me. (although 1 and 2 both were). also give the pc version some attention this time. 2 was better for pc but still far from acceptable at least imo.
Isnt Bombshell a direct clone of a game that came out like 6 years ago where a marine was on a massive starship and aliens had takin over and parts of his body where changed into a robot or something?
Edit: Check Out the Game Space Seige and tell me bombshell isn't a clone
Bravely Second is being released February 26/27 in the UK and Aus, this has been known since early December. It's also been out in Japan since April.
Just because it has no US release date yet doesn't mean "No features or release outside of Japan have been confirmed".
Rogue Wizards should be releasing in 2016 as far as I know. Currently in alpha, with beta in 1st quarter this year. Certainly more RPG than a few of the games listed above. A turned based dungeon crawler which looks like it will be a lot of fun. Random levels and loot stats. Zueljin Gaming channel on YT is doing a Let's Play at the moment, latest vids I could find of the game. Already listed on Steam as well, which is a good sign we'll see it this year.
I am currently playing Divinity Original Sin and loving it to bits. I am also scouring and scrounging every review about similar games since I am so madly in love with this type of game.
I recall vaguely playing Baldur's gate an age ago and frankly cannot remember it well but Planescape was fantastic and again my memory is also not so great about the game. I will be frank I had a look at buying them again for my Windows 8.1 although I still have the old discs in my cupboard somewhere,I doubt I can still use them on 8.1. I know it's an old game and the detail is horrible but I recall the writing was solid. I just wanted something newer so am very interested in reading about X-Com 2 and wondered about X-Com the Enemy Within.
I had a look at Wastelands 2 and I bought Pillars of Eternity.
So I am doing a mini hijack to ask whether Sword Coast Legends is worth buying and any other suggestions anyone might have. I have played Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 and Dragon Age Origins which I loved very much. Also Temple of Elemental Evil whether that is worth buying.
Space Chronicles just started his campaign at If it'll be backed enough, the game will be released very soon! http://tinyurl.com/z32gce4 If it'll be backed enough, the game will be released very soon!
Thanks for that endorsement of Temple of Elemental Evil. I was also watching Angry Joe's review of X-com Enemy Unknown and am really interested in the series. Looks like something I might enjoy. I enjoy both the story and also the strategic part in these games.
I love how Divinity forces you to consider everything around you and use the environment like when it is raining to shock your foes or blow up the barrel of oil with your fire spell or stun the big bad boss with a stun arrow. Every fight is different and that is fun .
I'm hoping the slow creep and cover shooting in X-Com is similarly strategic and and the whole scifi bit thrills me. Thanks Blue.

Hope I do not get jailed for this hijack.
