Name one please.
Lineage < UO
Lineage II < WoW or EQ2 or EQ or DAOC or AC1 or AO etc.. Nice graphics, boring game.
COH/COV is the only title worth a crap that NCSoft has... and I don't even enjoy that one, hated it actually.
Not saying SOE is any better but PUHLEASE I have yet to see NCSoft release a title that's worth playing, let alone paying for.
Guild Wars ftw!
GvG owns.
PvP in Guild Wars has been the MOST fun I have had since my days of BH/CH in swg.

In terms of PvP, GW owns all other MMORPGs big time.
I have faith these guys can make a great game. They are stacking the deck. Tabula Rasa looks very cool and they picked up some great developers to make it. Richard Garriot is behind it and he's the original Ultima designer. As well as Chris Roberts I believe, the brainchild behind the Wing Commander series. It seems to me they are making the Dream Team of game developers over there at NC.
For what it is, I have to say GW is pretty cool. It doesn't hold my attention for long periods of time, but that's fine cause it's freakin free, so it doesn't have too. I can pick it up anytime I want. Here's another cool feature some of you guys might not know, you can download a mini-client onto any computer you happen to be workin on. All it takes is your login name. It then only downloads what it needs as you go, and does it pretty quickly I might add. very cool feature. Makes the game totally portable.

His name came up a lot in the ranger forum as a posterboy for how we wanted a dev to act especially in the case of someone handling our revamp. The man fought hard for prpfessions he was assgined to though I am sure when they saddled him with the smuggler revamp - they probably didn't give him the time to work on it. Especially considering his work with the combat update that ceased to exist.
QFE - I remember when he was being given double duty with the work on the JtL expansion, and still discussed his revamp ideas with the smuggler community at home on his own time, well into the night. He earned a lot of respect from me because of that.
PS - His ideas were a whole hell of a lot better than the crap that's due for smugglers under the NGE too, and given his track record, I don't doubt he'd have done a fine job of it if his superiors had let him.

Yea, funny how the all wise Elnator with seemingly infinate wisdom on NCsoft fails to mention, arguably, their most sucesfull game, Guild Wars.

each NCsoft game has one or two great things going for it but they usually lack in other areas.
Lineage 2 The Good Beautiful Graphics/Music and Realm PvP? (I never got to the pvp so im not certain on it) The Ugly mind numbing monster grinding non stop (common in most asian mmorpg's and known to kill ppl )
CoH/CoV The Good Awesome character creation system and powers The Ugly lackluster unintelligent missions and button mashing grinding
Guild Wars The Good Both PvP and PVE are good not great IMO but good The Ugly If you want to pvp with skills u have to grind but it's not as bad as other titles, extremly linear pve
The Bad in almost all of Ncsoft titles comes in the grinding aspect, they simply have not made the content fun enough to where it doesn't seem like a grindfest. GW's content is a little better but It can still get downright boring.

Actually, I found that Guild Wars has the smallest amount of grinding in any MMO I've ever played. I mean, there are only 20 levels, and you get all your skills from questing. Actually the whole game is questing, I've never grinded at all. Not saying all the quests are all that great, and sometimes they can feel like grinding, but there is no "I've gotta kill 1 BILLION more worms to get level 19". Don't get me wrong, I'm no Guild Wars fanboi, it bores me easily. But calling it a grinding game is misleading.
Here's something you aren't taking into account with NC Soft
1. They've never shipped something incomplete. 2. They've never shipped something filled with bugs 3. They've never treated their customers like garbage. 4. They've never totally gone back and changed their game... twice. 5. They've never ignored their community. 6. They've never lied to their community. 7. They've never sold an expansion, then 2 weeks later changed the game. 8. They've never removed classes 9. "Star Warsy" and "Iconic" are not in their vocabulary. 10. THEY ARE NOT $OE.
I tell you one thing....
I have ALWAYS been happy with my experiences playing NC Soft games. I have had nothing but helpful customer service and great communication with devs, and I have betaed just about all their games.
POLAR opposite of $OE. We're talking apples and dog $#!t here.
