Playing Dragon's Dogma and Black Desert as well as a Skyrim (and modding it) some Morrowind and small bits of Elder Scrolls Online.
When I have time I'll go back to Pillars of Eternity.
I've heard quite a lot about Dragons' Dogma. From what I've seen it looks interesting. I have not looked much into it. Is that a console exclusive? For some odd reason I seem to have that in my head.
Un-modded Fallout 4, modded Jagged Alliance 2 1.13, Wildstar and looking at The Division and Dying Light. And I bought Dark Souls 1 a couple of weeks ago but haven't installed it yet.

38 years old here and I play Project 1999 which is classic Everquest and how it was at the time Velious was released (well as close as they can get it). Give it a go its free and well populated. Starter zones full too.
Interesting, I might give this a shot. Thanks
I difinitely like the classic art work better. Watching the video brings back some memories. I've been to most of those areas and played every race and class. The dark tunnels of surefall glade were one of my first experiences as a half elf ranger. I had trouble finding my way out at night. I like the old interface better though. It was much simpler even though it took up 6/8 of the screen. Kizdean Gix was probably my most hated NPC. Bards made my hands sore. It's interesting there is still a bug when the ship zones. It looks like people are walking on nothing and sometimes they don't zone and fall into the ocean.
I'm not 45+, but I am 33+ and sure do feel like I'm 45+ (maybe from not having done any physical labor in years).
Currently, I'm working on a perfect file of final fantasy 7 at the moment. I created a program to calculate the next possible stats raise upon next level up using the level up formulas. The output looks something like this...
All you did was waste space in this thread. You contributed literally nothing as you aren't even remotely near the age the op is talking about. I'm older than you and even I don't apply. Next time use some common sense.
Oh, didn't realize these forums were for contributing something. My bad. Thought they were for discussion.
Oh and the "I'm older than you"... what is this grade school?
Well, there is an expectation you will more or less stay on topic, and you went totally off into the weeds.

I turn 50 this summer. Like someone else said I just hang around here some hoping to hear about a MMO I might actually be interested in. So far....zip.
Someone mentioned project 99 and I did play on that for a while when it was still relatively new. It was fun but I don't raid so I ultimately hit the wall where there wasn't much left for me to do except start alts. I've lost my will to log in anymore at this point. The population is top-heavy. The low level areas are dominated by twinks and power levelers. It just ain't the same anymore.
There was some talk of starting a discord PvP server. If they do that I would probably go back for a while just to see how long I could last on it.

Dying Light The Following Enhanced Edition incl. a variety of mods. Dragon's Dogma, modded Fallout 4, heavily modded
I find these games extremely immersive, each in it's very own way.
Still on the edge to get into BDO, but the older i get the harder i find it to socialise (aka coping with people-drama) in mmorpgs.
Dying light, DD and F4 - great games, it's what I play after the kids are asleep and wife is watching project runway or whatever the fashion shows are these days.
BDO you can solo and never socialize, the game can be played lone wolf style unlike ArcheAge which sucks as a solo game as everything endgame requires a guild in teamspeak.
There's still people drama of course in every game but it can be ignored heh

Al'Kabor emu might be worth checking up on, it is a progression server remake of the old Al'Kabor mac server that was locked to Planes of Power. I am not sure whether they support a pc client yet.
60+. Been playing 7 Days to Die; Arma 3; Battlefield 4; Witcher 3; FortressCraft Evolved; Space Engineers; Metal Gear V; X Rebirth and Fall 4 to name only a few. Starting The Division soon. There aren't any good MMO out these days sorry to say.
42 later this month. . . thinking of playing Black Desert . . Giving Asta a try at the moment (nopers). Not much keeps me going. Modded Skyrim, Arma 3, I always always want to try EQ2 but just can't get into it. Considering Albion Online.
I've been enjoying Grim Dawn an ARPG. Has that old school, 1st Diablo feel to it. GW2 and MHs.

43 years old here and been playing since Everquest. Have a laundry list of games on steam. Going to start BDO and The Division this week. If interested in shooting me a friend invite on Steam let me know. Or rattle off your steam name.

Yeah i tried it a few days ago. It was pretty baron. I also found it hard to navigate around the controls. It gives you some starting items with no description on what they do. You only have 8 inventory slots. And after picking an archer class and being stuck with a rusty dagger till level 5 with not seeing anyone or knowing which direction to go to get my first bow (or any armor piece), I left. Mainly just lack of description for pretty much everything (stats, class skills, bonuses, combinations, and what items/gear/equipment does) killed it for me. To top it off, there didn't seem to be a setup menu to reconfigure what keys do (or even look at what keys do what).
The best part of a good game. Learning. I cant play games that tell me what everything is and where to go.
