Yes the game looks sweet to some degree, up close sure it has nice details and sweet graphics but you cant really say overall graphic is gorgeous due to view distance sucks really bad, you either have it blurred out or if it's not It's very pixilated and poor AA you cant really climb up on a mountain and say damn what a view It's all a blurry far away and no details. You got flickering shadows and object sometimes popin, there is so many things that really kill the overall graphic experience, as I sead sure up close and you are standing still looking about 20m infront of you it does look sweet, try climb a hill next time and try to enjoy the vista.
Agree. But it's not matter of view distance. The distance can be improved via seetings and some tricks, but still main problems 1. Screens looks much better than real game. When you run forward/backward that ALL big and small objects appear and disapper so suddenly, it really looks ugly. Suddenly new trees, houses, people, cannons, shadows, it's not realistic at all; looks very poor. Game developers must learn how LOD must work

They are using Photo mode in those videos with a heavy bokeh blur filter and Chromatic aberration you can't have in normal gameplay mode to hide the hideous ugly lod it looks way worse without that.
It looks really really good. Might not have the witcher 3 polish, but then again, what game does.
If you look hard you will find bits and pieces that are rushed. But all together, and as an overall, this is the best looking "mmo" to date. At least in terms of fidelity if object to the aesthetics itself.
If your the one to lower the quality because you need fps for pvp, or rush through the scenery without savoring the moment, or adjust the gamma back up so you can see in the dark, then this is not the game for you. There is no game here for you that you can not find done better elsewhere.
But if you do enjoy a sun setting in the horizon while out on the cornfield harvesting your crop, this is a game worth at least the experience of looking at.
