  I think it's a cool idea and I hope they stick with it.

  I can understand the problem why people are against it.  Imagine if the game gives you a character you detest the look of, for example a short, fat balding dude (no offense to anyone).  You are going to be buggered.  You can reroll as much as you like but it will not change the character due to being locked to your account.  All I can say is thank god for steam refunds.

  The game director plays hard against the current of players opinion when his game isn't even popular enough.
