gave up on hype years ago. If it's good, I'll play it. If not, I won't. I keep it simple
I'm afraid I fall into this camp now as well. I've read a bit about most of these games, but it's pretty much gone in one ear and out the other. I've been disappointed too many times before over the years, and I just don't pay that much attention anymore. When a mmorpg gets days away from release, that's when I start taking a closer look.
But I like everyone else's interest and enthusiasm. I'm glad to see there are still many good and true fans of the genre out there.
Give us a proper Everquest-3 that is worthy of the Everquest series. I also wouldn't mind seeing a worthy successor of Final Fantasy XI. It's been really heart breaking seeing that 3x fail game FFXIV wobble around.

If DBG cancelled EQN, what make you think that EQ3 has any real chance of happening?

I loved FFXI and would have loved for a true successor to that. That being said, FFXIV successful (at least commercially, whatever that's worth) and I've been having a good time playing it for what it is rather than wishing it was something it isn't, and that's at least giving me my MMO amusement until pantheon comes out.

The only thing real life offers is Great graphics. Its kinda expensive too and way to dependent on the cash shop. Totally pay to win as well. No thank you. Ill stick to my games.
Crowfall and CoE. CU seems to be an infinite progression grind, not interested in getting that involved in another MMO after Archeage and Black Desert. Pantheon it's tough to tell how that project is coming along. CoE is almost the same type of game and shows more promise.
Now Playing: Bless / Summoners War Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile
The Star Wars Galaxies remake that is soon to be announced. They haven't given it an official title yet.
Explain

Pantheon for me. I'm Simply not interested in PVP and unless my kids grow up and move out soon I won't have much time for grouping, so solo is a must.
Isn't "Pantheon" supposed to be the revival of those old school EQ clones, which automatically involves forced grouping?
They have said there will be a good amount of solo able stuff but the game is more focused on grouping than not. You'll need to group to get the most out of it but there is ample room for solo stuff as well.

Pantheon will be about forced grouping like movies are about forced seating. Ya, you can stand all you want but it might not make for the best experience.

Chronicles of Elyria ! the game is attempting to do something diffrent and because of that ill give it the most support , but if Camelot or crowfall come out first ill play them till CoE is released
Crowfall and Chronicles of Elyria are games I have supported on Kickstarter at a fairly high level, even though I'm not sure that I will have time to actually play any of them a lot. But the ideas they represent deserves support and I hope that at least one of them will deliver.
Crowfall brings me back to my happiest days in a MMO in Shadowbane, and I am intrigued by most of the innovative thinking they bring to the genre. I'm a bit worried that they seem to move combat stuff from the server to the client, which feels like an invitation to hackers. This could kill a competitive game so I hope they know what they are doing.
Chronicles of Elyria is scary close to my vision of what a MMO should be that I have had since I tried EverQuest back in the day and hated it. Many of its ideas are not only similar to what I have been looking for but it feels like they have sucked my brain for them. There are some details I don't care much for, like minigame crafting. Should I invest in a touchscreen? But on the whole it should be fun even if it only delivers on half of its promises.
Haven't even considered Pantheon due to my EQ trauma, but I hope those who miss original EQ finds it fun.
Crowfall doesn't interest me in the slightest, Pantheon is interesting but will be more or less same old, and Camelot Unchained focuses on PvP which is really not my thing.
