You are drifting into treacherous waters there unless the Mods have lightened up recently.
with the cost of hardware failing as it is I am not sure I could put all my money into VR if i wanted to.
Never the less is bringing up VR derailing the conversation or are we still on restricting what others can buy even if they want to and it harms nobody else?

Erillion is a horrible part of these forums in general. So I'm in support of any and all attacks on him. I can't wait for SC to come out so he can go play it and leave us alone.
He can be a little spammy to be sure but not attack worthy. If you don't like the game why the actual fuck do you post in threads about it?

Well, I used to be very hyped for the game, but Erillion and Erillion alone has made me irrationally hate the game. He just makes me angry. And since he's planning on sticking around (and pretending like he was here before SC) I can only hope for the worst to happen to him. I can't explain why he makes me so angry, but it's pretty much everything about him.
Well in his defense he is a big E:D fan also. He seems to be a big Sci-fi fan overall.

You can block posters too. I have 2 right now on block.

EDIT: Might be getting ready to be 3... O.o

No fanboy here. I am bullish on SC and bearish on CR TBPO.

The "argument" is the ingrained attack on @Erillion in the OP. Just a simple statement of the lack of SC/CIG at E3 would have been fine. But OP went farther, proving the troolish intent of said OP. So he was attacked for it.

    Easy peasy.
That's because we all know 'He" is a paid poster for CIG.

OP is trying to lead this post to show Erillion as a Shill in very subtle ways. But the issue here isn't whether Erillion is a fan or a shill. That doesn't matter. What and when Erillion posts on these boards is at his sole discretion and as long as he follows the ToS, he need not answer to OP for what he chooses NOT to post as is the case in this thread.

I've never been one to call for a thread closure as I have always felt "Who are you to decide who's opinion is valid or not?" but in this case, this thread is such an obviuos AdHom, it should be closed and the OP banned.

And - moderators and mmorpg hardware permitting - i will be active on this forum a decade after Star Citizen.

So....    64bit space is the huge topic that everyone is kinda ignoring.  The AMD chips are better for these operations and have been working with CIG on making the game work better on their chips.  Basically SC will run better on AMD chips and its because of changes AMD made to support such feats like 64 bit worlds.  So when SC decides to skip out on the event that is going to blow the minds of everyone at E3 then that puts up some really big red flags.  They claimed to have solved the 64 bit problems and both AMD and CIG and Crytek all have something huge to gain from it.  The fact that CIG won't present the 64 bit client at the AMD event tells clearly something has been grossly exaggerated.  It only takes a small team of about 5 people to show off this and probably just takes 1 person if he can listen to basic instructions on how to hookup stuff.

My theory is they don't like events where they cannot completely control who is present.  And they have lied about having 64 bit space.  I know anything is possible but right now this is 90% probable conclusion of what is currently happening.
Are you onto something or just on something?

Or .. as has been suggested before in this thread .... Intel paid CIG a significant sum (directly and/or as GamesCom booth sponsoring) to NOT go to an AMD sponsored event and INSTEAD go to another, greater, more important event where the INTEL logos are all over the showfloor right beside the Star Citizen logos.

Intel is a competitor to AMD and Nvidia. But it needs to be taken into account that Intel and Nvidia still have an ongoing cross-licensing agreement since 2011. And of course Nvidia vs AMD on one side (GPUs) and Intel vs AMD on the other side (CPUs) are locked in a struggle for many years now.

I don't really understand your point here.  It's not unheard of to have AAA games/companies skipping E3.  Squareenix has skipped it in the past and other large developers/publishers have as well just as an example.  Are you sure you aren't just trying to make a mountain out of an ant hill?
Only that , the ones making SC are not a AAA company!

Next time please don't put Square Enix , nor Activision nor Blizzard ( as seen from other poster ) in the same category as ....... Robert's company! Just .. don't !

    Another then that, carry on!

Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?

Unless intel and nvidia have come up with something significant they are still behind AMD on this particular topic.  And it would be ignorant for CIG to abandon AMD at this stage to pick up inferior chips.  Considering their game is going to run a lot better on the AMD chips.  They have the chance to promote something that no other company has ever done and they can do it with AMD right now.  Well they claim they can do it.  So if you are right they will present the 64 bit at this intel event.  I guess they don't realize that the 64 bit is going to steal the  show and attract a lot of positive attention from all over the world.

If it really is ready then they need to produce it this year at something major and they will gain the funding and support from the entire professional community.

Portents pointing to disaster have included everything from financial ruin to coffee machines. So far none of the proposed disasters have come to pass. The game still shows signs of progressing, CIG hasn't closed its doors, and Chris Roberts hasn't exploded. So what are we to make of this no show at E3? Not a whole hell of a lot, except the game is no where near finished. An epiphany that should be no surprise to anyone. So what does this all mean? People are still going to have to wait for SC. Business as usual.

Speaking of which, it's entirely possible that CIG didn't go to E3 because they didn't want people accusing them of wasting money on a stupid show instead of putting it towards developing the game :)

No its 64 bit space which allows for nearly infinite parameters.  Right now the space parameters for everyone is 11-15KM.  Noone has successfully went very far beyond this.  CIG is claiming they can do 10 million KM.  That is quite significant and yes its a breakthrough and very newsworthy once it has been proven.

A 7 page personal attack? Come on.
Asking why someone that posts EVERY single information about this game on this forum is not posting this important information is now a personal attack? I made a simple observation and asked a valid question.
    What is your motive here?
He has no need to answer to you for what he posts, and even more so, what he does not post?
The only reason it matters (That I can think of) is if you are trying to expose him as a Shill.

But that doesn't really matter. As I said, he owes you nothing. No explanation, no links, no posts no nothing for what he does not post.

He posts some news that you think is BS...fine, ask away. But for not posting something you think he should have?

    No!

There are variables which you have to loop through every frame. Doesn't matter if you have nearly infinite parameters. What does that even mean? Bullshit talk.

Erillion, why are you such a supporter of Star Citizen?
That is an interesting question and the answer is multi-faceted.

First of all - i like Star Citizen. As simple as that.

Secondly - I liked all previous Wing Commander, Privateer, Freelancer, Starlancer, Strike Commander games. Based on this previous experience i assume that i will also enjoy this new game. This assumption has proven true in the last years.

Thirdly - I like space, space-sim and sci-fi games in general. Ever since the very first Elite in 1984, since Space Invaders, Galaga and Planetfall.

Fourthly - i like it and support when people dare to think big. Dare to take the next step. Dare to go above and beyond mediocrity and well trodden paths.

Fifthly - i am a big fan of real world spaceflight, astronomy, astrophysics and geophysics in general.

Sixthly - i like the idea of crowdfunding - putting your money where your mouth it and helping to create new and exiting things. Computer games i like, flying cars or virtual interactive worlds, you dream it, you name it, you support it  ....

Seventh - i like people working with all their passion on things and projects they love and believe in. I support those people.

Eighthly - i have a strong dislike for disgruntled poppy-cutter types that waste their time trying to drag others down to their own substandard level, especially when those others aim much higher than those trolls can possibly imagine. Star Citizen seems to be a red flag for those poppy-cutter types.

Ninthly - i detest liars and backbiters, rumour-mongers and meta-gamers. Those types also seem to be cheesed off by Star Citizen a lot.

    Tenthly - I like to
