My favourite mmo is world of warcraft because it was my first mmo. Before it I didn't even know what a mmo was. Quickly I fell in love with it, and still play it to this day.
I've tried practicly every mmo ever released but never enjoy them as much as world of warcraft. The only one that gave me that same feeling was when darkfall first released. There was just something special about that game that I never experienced before, how epic if felt to me. Was amazing.

I am thoroughly enjoying Star Trek Online. Today, it is my favorite game. That may change, with Bless Online, Revelation Online and several others going to beta soon. But right now Star Trek Online has the crown.

The combination of fun ship combat with adequate ground combat that takes the form of breaks from space combat works well. While in the end it is pay to win, this effect has a cap of about $100 - at that point there is no reason to spend more except for cosmetics. It has a deep and involved crafting system and a good out of game leveling system. A little lacking in PvP, but overall a fun experience in groups or solo. The solo part is good for me, since I work crazy hours and my friends are not always on when I am.

My favorite game of all time was City of Heroes, a game taken down way before its time.

The world is going to the dogs, which is just how I planned it!

Aion, because it still is one of the best OW-PvP MMO's and I met some great people there...

Rift. I always come back to it, for the graphics, rifts, events, crafting, artifact hunting, etc!

Guild Wars 2; it's easy to jump into at anytime, not very demanding of my time and user friendly; much like riding a bike you never forget how to play.

Warhammer Online because it had the best RVR of all mmo games.

    Eve Online......

No game has done economy or PvP better. Shame the game is so out-of -date.

World of Warcraft. I met my wife playing WOW.  :)

World of Warcraft is the mmo I continue to go back to. FFXIV and many others are just as worthy of being my favorite.

My favorite mmo is the first one I played, UO. Wish I could find a game just like it, but with modern graphics.

Guildwars. It was low budget but had a diversity in skills and builds I never seen before or after. All parts of it was challenging (it eventually got nerfed rather badly though) and it had the best expansions/campaigns I ever seen.

Nightfall and Factions were just as massive as the base game, I don't think a single MMO repeated that.

The PvP was super skill based, gear and unlocked things mattered little.

As for PvE you couldn't outlevel and outgear the majority of the content as you can in most MMOs.

There have never been a game like Guildwars, that it was the first B2P MMO without any kind of casshop initially is rather amazing. They did sell some outfits after a few years though.

    I played it 5 years. :D

My favorite MMORPG was by far SWG. From the open character building system, to the vast array of roles to fulfill, there's been nothing like it since. The community was also by far the most into communal play that I've ever seen in this genre, no real contest as far as community experiences go.

While UO will always have a special place in my heart... CoH is for me the best game overall, flaws and all.

This have been a good conversation

My fav is still Wildstar. Best combat, dungeons, and raids cupcake!

Star wars: The old Republic, because it was my first fully featured MMO, and the legacy system (multiple character support) made it easy for an Altoholic like myself.

    =D

My Favorite MMO used to be FFXI. I don't really have a favorite anymore. Everything from the current market has felt shallow and unimaginative. Currently getting back into EVE because at least you have to think a little.
