At first, it looks amazing. I wonder when it will go closed/open beta or early access. Will it live up to the hype? Sure it won't, but I'm still all eyes for this one!

I remember Aion tried something like this. They had to disable it back then because gold farmers and bots took over the cities with their vendors and spam.

That comment gives more the impression you'll be able to build your buildings anywhere in the world like a lot of these survival games, more so than setting up a vendor (shop) while you afk. Tho im sure you could do some merchant RPing if that is your thing if the game has trading .

Good news. Does anyone knows when Early Access actually launch? First they said in November, Now December but I don't see any DnL page up on Steam yet so my guess is it won't launch in 2016.
Wow... can't remember the last time I was excited about an MMO's world. I'll definitely get in, the exploration alone justifies the price tag for me.
It's not an MMO - not to say the world doesn't look amazing but yeah...
The gap between survival games and MMOs is smaller than most think.
I believe in this title the divide will be even less so.
I agree. SWG was basically an early survival game, You had downtime for things like healing and wounds, buffs in the form of food and medicine to do mostly anything. We had stomach fullness and you could eat and drink only so much, you could only burst run for so long before you were too tired, and at one time weather and time of day (remember sandstorm on Tatioone) was supposed to have an impact on character damage against NPC and cause wounds over time (like BDO), but they could never get it working properly so it was scrapped.
