I said the same thing, his act is old now,he needs to be more REAL and just give impressions but then again this was NEVER going to be informative or much of anything as pretty much confirmed by himself.
Having said that,i think it is fair maybe even more so to have a NEW perspective rather than a fanbois one because we know how a fanbois one will end up.
Personally,i don't see the reasoning behind this video, wait and give us something with in depth information and meaning.
I am on the fence to games bringing back OLD school zones/titles into their newer mmo's,i know most are doing it.I guess it's ok,everyone loves some nostalgic feeling in their games.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Vvileforumposts(eso) - sometimes these forums have their downsides. But even the worst ones here pale into insignificance when compared with the sheer hateful bile on the eso forums when referring to the mechanic changes that Morrowind introduces.
I expect a degradation in chat when there's a fair element of pvp in a game, I played Aion and still do now and again. But the level of toxicity in the eso forums is enough to put you off the game for life.
It wasn't always like that. The forum community was actually quite good for the first year and tolerable for the first little while after they launched the console versions. There was always a mix of bad with the good but the positive and constructive posts were more visible and more frequent.
But it has been going down hill rapidly for the past few months and it really has nothing to do with PVP. What's happening is a growing mistrust in the developers, their capability to balance things properly and a sense that everything that comes out of their mouth is distorted spin and damage control.
None of that is really all that rare in MMO forums these days - I've seen the same or worse in the BDO, Archeage and any other MMO forum I've visited recently. What is unusual in the ESO forums is how quickly things have gone from a relatively well-behaved happy place to an extremely angry cesspool.
For some strange and old fashioned reason I thought the closed beta forums for Morrowind would be better with more objectivity and dedicated players... boy was I ever wrong.
