If the US "attacks" Iran then Iran would not be "attacking" in response, they would be "defending"
My point was that Iran is so unlikely to "attack" the US without some sort of military provocation that it doesnt even rate consideration.

I would agree they might be planning to fund insurgent groups to attack US troops in Iraq... but the notion of Iran planning an attack on US soil is just so far fetched its fantasy.

it may seem far fetched for america to be waging war on pretty much anyone with oil purely for the money, however when we're talking about these hefty billion dollar contracts which go directly into the pockets of US government top men, it's not so hard to imagine. humans are naturally greedy, when given power they will exploit it.

I really don't think, as stupid as Bush may be, that he is enough of an idiot to nuke Iran. I think he knows that a pre-emptive nuclear strike on ANY country, and basically any use of nuclear weapons period would make just about every country on earth turn against the USA. It would be WW3. World vs the United States. I'd deffinitely move to Europe in the event of a US launced nuclear attack, as the United States would lose that war.
I dont understand our government sometimes.. We go on a rampage and invade a country for wanting nuclear weapons, and we talk of possible war with a country that wants nuclear POWER PLANTS (something that we, the USA, has a lot of), yet at the same time have a massive stockpile of nuclear weapons ourself that could be used at any time. Europe may not be the best place to go. I think a lot of Europe as a lot of gun control laws. It may seem all nice and stuff because they may have less crime but thats not the point. The point is to protect yourself from the government. Thats the whole point to the right of gun ownership.
Also when there is gun control, that means robbers and criminals in general are a lot safer from their victims.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but thats what i've heard about gun control in Europe.

Europe isn't that strict on weapons. But ofcourse a private person can't own a entire military stock of highly specialized weapons. When there are gun control laws the criminals won't arm themselfs. When they don't expect the house owner to wait for them with a Bazooka, they won't bring the tank.
You can oppose your goverment in many ways if you want too. Guns aren't the only way.
I know I can and like I said it would be only for last resort. So if we have the military driving through our streets and forcing everyone into concentration camps. The idea isn't that far out...
