Also this "terrible" game. Was the last project worked on by a game developer known as Notch before he left to make his own game inspired by Wurm.

You may have heard of it. It's called Minecraft.

Heard of it. Never played it.

Played Trove for a short while, made it to U9, had some fun. But it felt like there was no goal set, nothing to attain to, just playing for the sake of playing.

But then again, I get that from an MOBA as well.

Oh.. did you think I didn't PvP? I just finished 3 battles in Eternal Crusade during this discussion.

People play Eternal Crusade?! I think that is the biggest revelation in this entire thread  :p

    I know right!

But, I'll admit, that I'm a huge Warhammer 40K fan, and for all that is wrong with Eternal Crusade, (for me personally, and I am not suggesting anyone else play it) I like the graphics, I like the setting, and it captures that battle between the races spot on. well except Eldar, they are stupid OP right now.

Like many said on here when you fund a Kickstarter campaign it's an investment. When you typically invest you weigh in the risks and determine if you want to go that route. Unfortunately, for kickstarters the ones who give money don't have a contract to sign and determine milestones of development, instead it's like a pledge or a donation. Just realize that you have to trust they will be honest and develop the game you want and not run away with your capital.

I do believe Pantheon development team is honestly trying to produce a game and want their mmo to release. I don't think Brad McQuaid would put his reputation on the line and steal peoples hard earn cash. I believe most of his team is from Everquest/Vanguard days.

The PvP version of the joke is the best version. :)

The word the OP should of used in the title is "trusting"

This has already been noted earlier in the thread.
