Sure, it includes character slots and more storage - which cost them nothing, and is only limited to make you buy the expansion. Other games including the base game and RoS also include that. They can sell pets and the other fluff extra. If people want it, they can buy it, those that don't want it could get the new character for $5 or maybe $10 max.
So yeah, i don't own D3 or anything - it was simply not worth the price tag for me, so i might already be biased, and i wouldn't buy this right now even for $2 as the game itself still costs too much, so think what you want, but $15 for a new class seems a lot.
I'll wait to the day's end when the moon is high
And then I'll rise with the tide with a lust for life, I'll
Amass an army, and we'll harness a horde
And then we'll limp across the land until we stand at the shore

Same could say about WoW . They offer cheap battle chest , but the last expansion alone its priced the same as the battle chest which includes all other expansion priory to the last one.
So no! You are wrong. You always pay more for the newest content . You always pay more for a brand new car in comparation with a second hand one. So yeah! 15$ it's worth it . You don't like or own the game? That's another story , but don't come up on a game you are not playing & qq-ing about the content price. That's pathetic.
Reporter: What's behind Blizzard success, and how do you make your gamers happy?
Blizzard Boss: Making gamers happy is not my concern, making money.. yes!
you are exaggerating.-just stop.
Seriously, wow.
Someone remembers what price was for Reaper of Souls at release date?
And all the years of free content prior to that.

I am pleasantly surprised by the pricing, I was expecting 20+ dollars tbh. Also hooray for the release date!

Kyleran on yours sincerely
'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'
Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

Nevermind the fact it was $1.20 per gallon the year before lol.
Yes it is fair by Blizzard standards, but still kind of silly for what you are getting. Don't get me wrong, I'll buy it...just not going to be "thankful" for the "fair" price lol.
Of course, in D3's case, you don't NEED D3 to live, but... well, MMORPGs in general are a luxury "first-world problems" kinda thing, more so than any other gaming genre in an industry that's already a first-world-problems industry. C'est la vie!
