Whos Your favourite horror character, for me it's freddy, youd notice his name first in the poll. Woops! there goes favourtism.. ah well.. pick one If you pick other please state who and Id really be greatful..

I also dig good vampires like the one in John Carpenter's Vampire. Other than that I enjoy Lucifer as the bad guy.

for non Asian i'd go with Pinhead. i mean... talk about sexy AND evil!
but uhm... remove Samara and put in the REAL one, please!
Sadako was DEFINATELY creepier than Samara could ever be. that and she is the original.
so i'm just going to vote based on non Asian because, quite frankly, there are tons more scary ones in Japanese horror. just my opinion, of course.

Yeah, Asians keep me in suspense and freak me out.... I just like freddy's weird ways of killing.
Hmm, you have Samara, but not Sadako. Chucky, but not Michael Myers? That's like putting Santa from Silent Night, Deadly Night over... Leatherface.
Sadako definately tops the list in creepiness. I almost voted Other for Candyman, but while he's cool the stories have sucked. Two lesser known decent horror "villains" I'd like to point out are "Simon" from Session 9 (you'll understand the quotes when you read the synopsis) and May from... well, May.
In then end it comes down to a tie for me: Pinhead who is by far one of more intellectual and inevitable characters, and Jigsaw. I say him because he's a mix of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Seven. And technically he shouldn't be around for a ton of movies as he's supposed to have cancer. But, with the death in RL of his creater and producer they'll probably milk the series for all it's worth.

Sweet! Ringu 0 was my favourite from the Ringu series. Not as horror as the others, but the story was awesome and the scene from your screencap was one of the creepiest character stalkings onscreen. /endfanboi
And if you want to include Ichi, then we have to also include Asami from Ôdishon (Audition).
Remember, that is responsible for one of the most disturbing torture scenes in film.

and yes... if you read the Ringu book then people would know that Sadako has both male and female genitalia.
i just realized something. i bought the Ringu game for the DC and never played it. i got it SUPER cheap and heard it's really bad. but, ya know, i HAD to have it!
