I would wonder why half the population either stood around listlessly or wander the same path over and over and over and over and over and over and....
I work front desk at a hotel, and I had a conversation with my boss (who is also a gamer) and we came to the conclusion that I'm literally an NPC in the lives of our guests. I sit here doing nothing until a guest comes in, then I give them the same spiel I always spew, issue keys to a room and tell them to come back if they require aid. Everytime, no changes.
If I were able to change the setting, I would change to EVE online. Sci-Fi is my favorite genre, and capsuleers are (lore appropriately) immortal!

So you're saying you'd rather be a mercenary in a war zone then working at a hotel?

Well life is a game already with tons of other players. The goal of the game is to achieve that in which you been longing for. The obstacle is, how long is it going to take you to achieve it?

Yes, if the trade off is exploring space and immortality.
I would wonder why half the population either stood around listlessly or wander the same path over and over and over and over and over and over and....
Or why so many other people looked almost exactly like me......

I would find the RL forums, which are called social media and start advocating for better attributes, special powers, outfits and housing for my race and class. Those sort of tweets would be a first for social media, and would no doubt get universal approval just like they do when I try my luck on forums for my MMO class.
As for settings I would update my rosy glasses to 4K ones so I could see all the nostalgia better.

Question is are your clones you? I always wondered if in Star Trek did you have to die and be cloned on the other end or did you actually teleport.
If the world is a virtual world -- which is totally plausible -- then it explains a lot of the unexplained.
Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing). German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century. Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now). I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things). In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while. If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.
Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this. If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own. Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis. Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.
I've already thought about it for Real, theres so many theories about "humanity origins" including Matrix Theory, and Earth not being real / Simulation, in theory not talking about the stuff that violates *ROC* here, it's totally possible, but nothing can be proven as of yet.
But then you have to define *PROOF* if a person doesn't see it from their own eyes or many people don't at the same time then it didn't happen?

There is no "proof" anything is real. Everything could be a hallucination.
I always like my lighter theory. The universe is is just a man lighting his cigarette. The big bang was the initial lighting and stars are the sparks on microscopic levels. This whole thing last 4 seconds but time relativity makes it last for infinity for us lol.
If we're living in an MMORPG, then we have a duty to ensure that it is an interesting game. Otherwise, the intended customers for it might lose interest, and then the game would lose money, and then they'd pull the plug. And then we would all cease to exist.

And what about people that can't see or hear, are those considered input problems?
Was sign language some kind of early kinect development?
Is going to the bathroom just a mini-game gone awry?
Why is character creation not working for some people, and whats the deal with the crazy costs for respecing?
Why did they take away block controls for in person encounters?
Not to mention, it's summer here, and there are waaaaayyyy too many bugs. Like seriously did the development team just give up?
