Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen News - If you haven't been paying attention to the GameSpace Game Show, then you may have missed a previous episode where Visionary Realms' Brad McQuaid and Chris Perkins joined us to talk about what's going on in Pantheon.     Thanks for the opportunity to ask questions!

    Vanguard and EverQuest ended up having a lot of options for those looking to play a beast-race of some kind. The Vulmane and the Iksar, for example, are some of my favorite races in MMO's to this day due to their original presentation and rich lore. Does Pantheon have intention of adding its own share of animilian-humanoids?

    Looking forward to seeing more of the game :)

    1. You kickstarted in February 2014 and indicated back then that your game had been in development by then. Given that we've only seen one part of a zone in most of the videos, and one dungeon, can you give us a current status of the progression of the game and an update on estimated timeframes? Your kickstarter indicated beta in 2016 and we are 1.5-2 years past that. Thanks-- a loyal backer.

    With the reveal, there's been a lot of questions as well as confusion and admitted comparisons of Enchanter as a CC/Support class with that of the DPS roles. Many questioned the relative potency of the Charm spell as well as their relationship with the Summoner. As someone who played a single Enchanter for seven years in Everquest and a mind control type in just about every MMO I've played since, this is a special interest to me and want to see this class done right.

    The questions are...

    1. Will there be a mitigating factor with Charm such as a decreased attribute, health and damage output of that mob and more extensively when Permanently charmed or will it work similarly to EQ1?

    2. Why are there two versions of the Summoner's 'Summon Creature' spell? Why would an Enchanter choose one of these creatures over say choosing any number of creatures in the vicinity, especially if they have a chance to permanently charm them?

    3. Will charmed mobs retain their skills and abilities? Will they use beneficial spells on themselves, the Enchanter or the group and will you be able to actively use their abilities through the pet window?

    4. Will the Epic spell Fascinate affect multiple targets at once or does Mesmerize have an inherent limitation on the number of targets it can effect and Fascinate removes that limitation?

    5. Will there be an either/or option in your choice of epic abilities leading to a type of specialization?

    Why is city architecture so large? When comparing dungeon screenshots to city screenshots it appears that there is a design decision to make cities huge in comparison to the rest of the world.

    1.) Is there any word with regard to the updated forums? What are the complications and what are your estimates to have them up and running?
    2.) Do you have some new information on EU servers and/or translations to other languages?
    3.) Beside combat and crafting, will there be some other activities (I hope for treasure hunting) in game?

    Shaman's resource, Vision, gives spell haste, but most of their damage and healing is over time. Will spell haste and/or Vision increase the tick rate of over-time effects? Also, any additional details on Agewalker's Gift or Walk the Ages would be appreciated. Thanks!

    What more can you tell us about the game's faction system, how faction with various groups is earned, and its importance if any to player development?

    EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

    "Given the scope of the game, do you currently have enough funds to complete it or will you require another round (or so) of funding to finish?"

    I am really hoping the night time is a lot darker at times than what has been shown on the streams to date.

    Will there be any areas that will be more perilous at night, and even more so without a torch or magical lighting? Places that might live up to the reputation of the famed Kithicor at night?

    Seriously? The Pantheon KickStarter failed to fund. How can you possibly expect them to deliver on that date, when they didn't receive any of the campaign funds needed to complete the project? And ever since KS, I don't think they have announced a launch date.

    I'm as impatient to play the game as the next guy, but come on, this is just silly.

    At one point in time in EQ you could play a random mob where you could do a few limited things. It was something totally different and was fun. Any thoughts on something simular. I recall a druid who was kiting a giant in West Commons I think it was (one of the commons) and I was a green snake. Every time he sat down to me I would bite him and slither off.

    Can you discuss a bit about the current death mechanic and how you see it changing, if any, in the future. What is the optimal plan for a group to properly prepare for a possible corpse run? I ask because I have never seen a stream actually use this mechanic as intended and wonder how truly viable it is in its current state from what I’ve seen shown and described. I see a situation of a deep dungeon delve and wipe, then spending all that time to try and get back to your corpse to only possibly wipe again.

    I wanted to ask about starting zones for different races, and alignment. Let's say I want to play a Halfling, and my friend is set on Dark Myr - How hard will it be for us to play together from the start?
    Aside from the distance of the starting zone, will we have to consider other things?

    Can we get some idea of the specs are going to be required to run the game I've been out of it for a little while but I've been anxiously waiting for this I even invested as a doctor but I just need to have an idea what I'm going to need to run this program efficiently

    I work 40 hours a week and have a family. Would it be realistic for me to enjoy Pantheon and get to max level in 6 months playing 5 hours a week?

    What are you guys planning for max level players, more specifically the players that rush to get to the end to enjoy the harder guild content? Too often pve games focus on early game and get caught off guard with a lack of content for high end players, what are you guys doing/planning for this?

    1) What is the group size you're designing your content around? Will anything less than a full group struggle, or will you, the devs, (to some extent) be able to modulate encounter difficulty based on the number of players present? In other words if i have a close group of 4 of us that always play together, will i be out of luck unless i recruit an extra 2-4 players? Imo in 2018 (+) this sort of fluidity should be in encounters. City of Heroes had it 15 years ago.

    2) (this would never get answered but I'll ask it anyway.) Voice chat is far and away the biggest destroyer of atmosphere and immersion in games for me. Totalling ****ing ruins it. Have you any thoughts about how to deal with this. Have you considered a chat filter so that an elf sounds like an elf, not a fat sweaty basement dweller with an American accent? I don't know if such tech is viable but I can dream.
