Not only OCS is coming but they start to show things like robotic leg. What we saw so far is 1/10th of CIG assets already developed for SQ42. 2019 is going to be an amazing year with added features and gameplay!

Excuse me why are you underplaying the amazing work CIG has done in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 ?
    Are you a hater?
All those years were amazing and each year that passes is even more amazinger.
Maybe you don't understand the current content of the game and how it's probably the most complicated piece of software ever developed.
You do understand OCS has never happened before any other game right?

CIG has been innovating for years and you're only looking to the future.
You're doing CIG a tremendous discredit.

Someone drank WAY TOO MUCH of the Kool-Aid.
I think he was being ironical.

    Let's talk real:

(The guy beginning at 3:56 is amazing)

Fair warning: the above video is fairly critical of Star Citizen and the author(s) seem to be fans of E:D.  That said: nothing stated was very outlandish or unsupported; I will say I do have a M.B.A. in international business and I'm glad I don't work for who the author states he thinks the CEO of CIG should be.

Anyway, if you feel you're on the primrose path when it comes to Star Citizen listen to this.  This is for you.

It's always amusing to see how buthurt delusioned g00ns and EvE/ED fanboys go hand in hand hating Star Citizen. Their inferiority complex generates envy at every Star Citizen news, no wonder they are in a permanent grieve. It's hilarious how they keep getting owned but simply cant let go always coming back for more lol  :D

Wasn't OCS delayed again?  Or maybe my memory is just misremembering that because a bunch of testers posted that 3.3 still needed a lot more time and work or something.

EDIT: Ah, just saw a post at the reddit that OCS is coming but 3.3 is getting delayed.  Guess that explains things if that's true.

Meh let the haters hate, that's their thing. I and guildies here waiting for 3.3, the major performance improvement patch already starts to highlight good results, without the constant shuttering the game finally knocks down what I find its biggest roadblock to playability yet.

Many been holding off because of performance, and its huge RAM requirements (16GB), it should finally work for who has 8GB.

OCS was embedded into 3.3 again, the PTU testing of 3.3 that is set to open to everyone on Oct 10 will start with it.

But that's the joy of Star Citizen.. having no release date means you don't have a timelimit to include features.. which means you can include infinite features into your game.
Haters can't see this.. they want a release date as if that's the most important thing.

Me and my guildies are all excited and can wait forever for the game that will dwarf all other games.
3.3 will be amazing as were so many earlier patches.
I have never been disappointed in a SC patch.... they always deliver more than expected.

Performance will be better on med/min computers which means more people will be able to play the game which means more people will buy in, which means more people will buy more ships, which means more revenue for CIG, which means Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger development.
Everyone wins... let the haters hate the game.. they'll be citizens sooner or later.

Just wait for CitizenCon.. I predict a 10mil funding increase from excited fans and convinced newcomers.

Im going to make a prediction for myself. As someone who loves Elite Dangerous and actually enjoys No mans Sky when i eventually play this i will be a SC fanboy defending this game, Why you ask ? Because despite have immense interest and criticism of this game i have yet to play it. When i eventually do i will experience everything for the first time and I'm going to assume the game will be mostly finished, or at least polished to a level of enjoyment where as everyone else will have been fed the game in drips and drabs .

The real question is will this game ever reach a launch point ? Will it be shit canned before the average casual like myself even gets to try it ?

@Sgel yours posts are just low level sneaky trolling. You try to look clever by depicting stupid SC fan pretending this project is the Graal: quote "Me and my guildies are all excited and can wait forever for the game that will dwarf all other games"....

No healthy supporter of a project will ever speak as you did... However there is one sure thing, roadmap depict most Kickstarter features available by end of 2019 with a probable beta by this time. No need to wait for ever :)

I'm not trying to look clever.. I am clever :/
It's easy to dismiss opinion as trolling... just because you don't like it.

I do agree with you though.. no healthy supporter of a project would say the things I said.
Too bad everything I said was just echoing other SC fan posters from this forum.

As for end of 2019 roadmap showing the inclusion of all kickstarter features.. well even myself as an avid SC aficionado, remember Chris's promises of a 2014 release or the 2week Star Marine launch that ended up being 9 months.
I'm also pretty sure we're quite far away from the 100 systems promised and those won't be ready at the end of 2019.
But as I said, it's ok... I can wait FOREVER for the best game ever.

I wonder if the other kickstarted mmo's have any of these disillusioned trolls crying 24/7 about "missed" dates... :D

I believe you are one of the folks who surfs multiple sites solely to hype this game, so fair's fair.

A video-game so good adults cry for a release date. Life Goals.  B)

Loading and unloading objects is nothing new, object state also nothing new.
To me this video falls in line with all the other videos, typical game design but they feel the need to tell us of typical game design.Yeah we get it,where is your game?
The backend tool.So they are telling us they could never isolate the asset from the zone properties?Wow what kind of amateur team is this, that should have been done ions ago. This in reality doesn't even make sense, the cart before the wheel. They could have used the 20 year old Unreal engine and been light years ahead.
So i can assume this engine is so archaic that they can't properly make the game run efficiently. So now i see why they are struggling with this loading and unloading, the game runs terrible so they need to find a way to unload as much as possible, well everything your viewpoint cannot see. This again is normal game design yet seems they are ions late moving on this obvious needed feature.

OR...is this just all a smokescreen, just make stuff up for video sake to make it look like we are doing something?IMO all of the weekly video stuff is a game engine that should have been done day 1 before designing the actual game ideas. To me it constantly sounds like the game design is winging it and the game engine design is also winging it...sigh.
Even the great unreal engine FIRST and foremost was a finished working engine and the game was designed and finished. Then over time AFTER the release they added new tools and software and became an even better engine. The problem is that this is not what Robert's promised,he did not come out and say, give us money and we might need an endless amount of time to make a HQ game engine.NO he made it sound like they had an engine and could design the game within a couple years on a MUCH smaller budget.
Bottom line, this Robert's character is running roughshot all over the place, nobody knows how much a subpar effort will end up costing and how long it will take to get there.

Yeah I don't know why he mentioned the kickstarter date... everyone knows SC doesn't have a release date. What if it once had one.. it doesn't anymore.. get educated noobs! lol!

Of course other games have trolls that cry about delays.. most of those mmos have actual release dates though... but they aren't the most ambitious game ever so that doesn't count.
If one game deserves to have no release date, it's SC.

As for ED fanboys' analysis of game development.. looooooool... their game is so simple and so easy to make. CIG has released so many dev videos that we've actually been educated in game development. They should probably charge us for the videos.. if they don't already.

Adults cry and rage when they don't get what they were promised when they fall victim to ponzi scheme, fraud, or Star Citizen.

Maybe Star Citizen isn't really comparable to the other two, but people crying that they haven't received the product is never means they think the product is doing good.
