    No PvP. I'm out.

You were never in to begin with. Poor effort on your part.
    Nice one. Not really though.

I could take it or leave it tbh. I don't care either way. I'm not the kind of player who will stand around in those places. I'm in and out. Do what is needed and move on.

It's alright for light roleplaying I suppose but that isn't my kind of thing. Some people like to show off their skins too, even though no one really cares what virtual cosmetics you've acquired.

Better to have it I guess to please those that do like that kind of thing.

I pre-ordered yesterday simply because Ive been really looking forward to Anthem since I first heard about it.

If the game is a Monster Hunter World with suits and guns, I'll be cancelling my pre order. Not really looking to have a hub simulator where the only thing you do is get quests, go kill one monster, come back and craft.

I do hope theres a vast open world to discover, quests in that open world to find, the ability to see a few dozen other players like Destiny 2 doing their own thing, dungeons/strikes, etc.

Really not looking for MHW. Cancel pre order if so.

Damn. I was so excited for this game listening to all the features and plans when they first started talking about it. . . It's weird how games like Anthem and Destiny go so completely off the rails of what was hyped by the devs. I think that's one of the biggest issues. They over promise before they even have enough game to know what's possible. By the time they've gutted everything and the game limps into retail, it almost has a completely different identity. :/

And I'm not even talking about it being an MMO-lite. I was really hoping it stayed a coop campaign style game I could play through with a buddy or two. Not a Hub shooter. Same ole switcharoo as Bungie pulled.

So, they're adding a small lobby area... Good for them :-/

At the end of the day the game looks really fun!! That's all that matters!
Looks fun... that's very different from IS fun.

We will see after launch when the real game is out there and not the heavily modified demo designed to keep reviewers happy.

Reviewers aren't going to review the demo, they will review the game.

As for me, it looks fun.
I will be trying before I buy it though.
I don't care about small lobbies or large lobbies as long as the game is fun.

It's going to compete with The Division 2 and that's looking a hell of a lot nicer.

Good thing both games will have demo/open beta before they launch so we can play them and decide.

What? I mean a "switcharoo" because they added in a landing pad hub? It is staying a co-op game the hub is just there like how it is in MHW (you know the gathering hub no one uses except for one event). The hype isn't really from the devs but from players. We expect one thing and if it isn't exactly how we want it then we complain about being lied to. The game is and still is a looter shooter. I have no idea what a "Hub Shooter" is anyway.

If it is a fun looter that controls well then I will be playing for a long time. That is what I am expecting from it. The way it is set up makes me think of D3 with difficulties or PoE with higher level maps as go on. If the loot is there and have fun playing it then will be a success to me. Hub might be nice but not really something I need.

Destiny is a Hub shooter. A game where there is no real open world. Just a hub, where you group, and collectively load into a small zone/map. You do your objective, and then load back into the hub. Rinse, repeat, till you die of boredom. If you can dig up any of the original bs they used to hype Destiny, you'll know why I say switcharoo.

If that's not the direction Anthem is going then my mistake. Because it was first billed as an open world coop campaign. But that's not really what its been sounding like the closer it gets to release. Much like Destiny.

I haven't played MHW, but it sounds similar. Group up in a zone and/or hub almost completely outside of the game? Load into a zone that provides you a single objective? Complete objective and go turn it in somewhere. Pick new objective and load into appropriate zone for it?

I saw this and thought "That's cool they actually want to do something the community wants in game." I see the comments here and at other places and wonder why people think talking negative on something is useful.

Look I get it big company/publisher always have their sights set on profit but stop calling a game a cash grab. Games are made to turn some kind of profit at the end of the day or the smaller studios are trying to get the publishers to notice them so they can get funding to make a bigger game.

How about this, have a better plan. What I mean is have something more to say other than "Beware EA," "Bioware sucks," etc. How bout how the industry can get better? Be realistic with yourself and understand there is no such thing as the "perfect game".

Nonononono..Remember.. companies arent allowed to make a profit and shouldnt charge for ANYTHING.. just make everything free and make the most amazing game with an enormous amount of amazing content and then claim bankruptcy to make fans happy.
