With Shadowbringers’ launch looming ever closer, Square Enix has pulled out all the stops with its press viewings of the game. I was one of the lucky few invited out to be one of the first to play the expansion. To say I wasn’t overwhelmed would be a lie, the shear amount of content available was substantial. A lot of changes are coming, and I won’t be covering them all.

Not much change, more addition. See screenshot attached, they added a new currency to the FATE system to give more rewards instead of simply EXP.
It's the beginning of WoW for me all over again, spending hours and hours a day playing and having fun.
WoW classic won't give me that i'm sure, i'll be playing Shadowbringers.
It's beyond me why keep making unnecessary changes.
If you take the changes per individual class, they do make sense.
They spent months fixing class balance, finally got it right. I won't say it's perfect, but most people settle with it. And now they decided to revamp the whole battle system again, not once not twice but for many times.
Bard's skills for instance, it has no casting time remember? Somehow they decided to add casting time and then years later had it removed.
I play FF14 since 1.0 for more than 7 years, I've seen many unnecessary skills revamped.
You're confusing job skills "fixes" with whole battle system. 2 changes since launch that's it. Many job skills changes. I've been with FF14 1.0 as well.
