If you have to assure your audience of something, there's probably a good reason for them to doubt your sincerity.
I fucking doubt their sincerity, and if Diablo 4 isn't good, I'm done with them.
all immortal was is a quick cash grab for china which will see a localization patch.... TBH im not expecting much outta this game as a diablo fan it will only be worth its salt in lore gameplay will be utter trash!
This should be obvious to anyone with a brain. They can do mobile games and mobile/console ports while still making PC games. Nowhere did they say they were abandoning PC. There's nothing wrong with them branching out into the mobile market.
Diablo fans just need to chill out.

Diablo fans weren't mad about getting a mobile game. They were rightfully fucking mad about their franchise being in maintenance mode for half a decade and THEN getting a mobile game.
Blizzard was one of those companies in the early years that earned a lot of respect. Their games were always solid and ready. Once WoW became an absolute smash, Blizzard started to slowly morph into your typical corporate pos, e.g., cross-promotion items, cash shops, etc.
Mobile gamers are on a totally different planet. Mobile games are known for being EXTREMELY heavy in the cash shop realm, so when hearing that Blizzard is going to focus one of their major IPs on mobile, it was more like, "Yeah. Figures."
I dont know. In all honesty, Diablo 4 would have to do something major otherwise PoE is just gonna continue to dominate the market due to just being free. Some people say D3 was able to turn itself around be honestly, from a design perspective it took so many steps backwards from D2 in a bad way imo. Part of the appeal of PoE is that its so much like D2. D4 wont have an offline mode since Blizzard no longer makes offline games. Even if it did, you have games like Grim Dawn that still hold up pretty well and would be cheaper. Maybe its too late realistically for D4.
Er do you idiots play Diablo 3 at all? Why would anyone spend real money to buy anything in that game exactly? Are there Primals on sale in the Auction House or all these people who are commenting losers that can't finish GR rifting Torment 70?
Idiots who actually think PoE is better than Diablo 3 are sick in the heart. That game is just ugly and bizarre and grossly violent and uncomfortable. Some sick minded people made that game.
Well Blizzard North closed long ago and they made the games that I cared about so blizzard has been dead to me for a long time. Maybe the Diablo 3 that they were developing was not up to standards as Vivendi claimed. I can't see how it could have been worse than the DIablo 3 that Blizzard Entertainment developed and released.
I wonder what the scifi diablo like game that Blizzard North was developing would have been liked?
After D3's real money auction house, Diablo Immortals announcement along with "Don't you guys have phones?" insult to them saying we think we want Classic WoW but we don't...
Anyone spending money on D3 auction house are real losers period. I don't understand why anyone would pay for anything with real money in this game.
I mean the game is shallow. It gives you a desktop level entertainment for a little while. After that its just grinding for Primals and anything past GR130+ is just for bragging rights.
So their big Diablo news will be that Diablo Immortal will be available on pc?
It would still be a better game than Pagan Online.
i dont mind pagan its kinda like arcade diablo! but TBH wolcen is gonna be the next big diablo like, once its out of early access early 2020!
Wolcen could be rad if they keep on their current path and don't frack it all up. I really like the latest update. Balance is a bit wonky. Trying to figure out trait synergies is challenging. Combat is very punchy and crunchy in that satisfying way.
yeah i keep up with its dev even bought it in early access to support them but i wont play until its out as i dont want a bad experience to mess up my thought on the game, this is one game i dont mind waiting for as it looks worth it.... hopefully this also sates my hunger for a diablo/marvel heroes esque gameplay as D3 got stale and Marvel heroes is no more!
I understand why they are going for mobile space ARPGs- because the current offerings leave a TON to be desired.
The best option for mobile ARPG is Eternium and that game has a ton of things it could improve on - limited maps, a handful of mobs and a handful of bosses, it's very repetitive and lacking in content.
So the mobile market is ripe for a really good ARPG.
Blizzard could make a real killing if they do Diablo Immortal well enough
The same could be said for a lot of genres on mobile, but no one seems interested in actually investing in great mobile games... far easier to just churn out cheap clones and rake in the gatcha dollars.
And even if they did create a great game would anyone buy it? F2P games are massively more popular on mobile than anything that costs even a few dollars; so the game design is compromised from the start, and even if the game is 'fair' to start with does anyone really trust that it will stay that way?
This should be obvious to anyone with a brain. They can do mobile games and mobile/console ports while still making PC games. Nowhere did they say they were abandoning PC. There's nothing wrong with them branching out into the mobile market.
Diablo fans just need to chill out.
A very high portion of the people that went to Blizzcon that year actually went because Blizzard led them to believe they were revealing the next iteration of a PC Diablo. Then they slapped those people in the face with an insult of "Don't you have phones."
Yeah there is nothing wrong with branching out at all. You don't treat the customers that made you what you are that way though. It was dumb an arrogant to make that statement. Think the fans that bought tickets kinda had a right to be a little upset when they were treated that way. As far as people that were not there, they also can also feel slighted because of the hubris that came from that.
My wife's family worked for Blizzard. They have gone down hill in major ways over the years.

No respect. None at all.
Diablo 3 was crap, so I'm sure this will suck.

Overall it is what they made it a PR nightmare.
