they have stated a new patch was made for a found reason for the permabugs , yet in the previously posted Q&A, they stated this has already been taken care of....which of course was a flat out lie.....they are now compounding the most recent admission that permabug exists stating that no new permabugs have been reported....that is simply not true. A friend of mine just got his 3rd character permabugged and he sent in a help request.
wtf man? cant these ppl quit lying???? what is it ?? some kind of compulsive disorder within the whole company????????
there are still several out there. Many have given up on them and just let it hang there.Others have deleted them waiting for responses. The PB is definitely not over.
Will this review be an appropiate for a review of DnL's release. I have yet to see anything in game materially change. Most likley it will serve as a review for DnL's release as well.

I think I am just gonna try the game if I don't like no big deal, I just think it one of those games that can be absolutly wonderfull or absolutly crap. I don't think this game will have much middle ground to stand on untill it builds up customer loyalty again.
I'm with you there. It will either be great, or it will be a bald-faced, flat-out lie.
I personally disagree that quests would be necessary to make the game enjoyable. Heck, I can even deal with a crappy combat system. But if I don't see any fortresses or mines, and if I can't craft any items, then the whole thing will just be worthless. Despite all the rotten press, I will really be stunned if the game doesn't have these elements. I identify with the fanboys in this regard... it's hard to believe that any company could be that dishonest.

Welp, I would have to say that the majority of the mmo players have a higher standard than what Farlan is leading thier fanbase to accept. Its to a point now where someone with a little hope left is willing to deal with no content and crappy combat system. Expectations of the fans themselves have been pushed so low , they will take anything.
Trouble is, again, the majority of the mmo players wont accept crap when its crap. When players dont accept crap, they wont play crap. IF players dont play crap, there will be no players in DNL. With no players in DNL, the game is dead game walking.
I for one am in the majority. I will not settle for crap after the promises of years and especially the boot in the arse we got as a gift called SOG. I wont play crap. I wont settle for crap.

"It's no big deal I throw away $49.99 all the time for no reason" Just how dense are people anymore?
How about waiting a bit and see what shakes out before you blindly throw money away. You realize that there is NO RETAIL BOX SALES of this product. Doesn't that worry you the least bit? We even had 5 1/4" floppies (80K single sided ones) in ziplock plastic bags in the 70's with printed documentation, and punched paper tape before that.
Download only is a bit suspicious and the only games that I can think of that currently do that method are the free Korean games, which make DnL look like a kindergarten exercise in programming.
Tie this review into the OPs original review and I would have to say much of what was stated in this thread is true and predictions are starting to show themselves:
