Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse. - FARGIN_WAR

What that game needed the most was level scaling, you outlevel an area before you’re half done with it’s quests and content. That, and a working FoV slider is the biggest «lacks» from the original

That's exactly what mine looks like.
Like I said in my first post, the graphics have aged well. What I didn't say is that they have thanks mostly to their art style. It never tried to be photo-realistic like say, Skyrim did.
It's the ones that attempted photo realism back in those days that look dated now and would most benefit from a graphics remaster

Maybe if this sells well we get an actual sequel? Please, baby Jesus, make this true. I just hope it's available on more platforms than the MS store with all the problems PSO 2 has had there.

I think, even though they are charging for it, it will sell and it will inspire "at least" a DLC.
Every forum that I've seen with this game has always fostered the comments that "it's a great game with flaws."
It didn't do gangbusters in sales (if it did would the studio have crumbled?) but with some years behind it and in hindsight, it was a good game.
The studio went bankrupt because of mismanagement and the fact that Curt Schilling is a gigantic moronic douche bag who was given a pass on his bad behaviour for years because he was good at baseball. Game was still great despite this.
