It's not new is the REAL reason we are pissed. It's been happening, keeps happening, what you are seeing is a result of 100s of years of oppression. People are tired of it.

It's not hard to understand. What's difficult to swallow is the desire to segregate even further. "I'ts a black problem", "It's racism", when the reality is cops have unjustly killed many, many more than just black people. That's the truth.

It would take a deeply troubled person to believe otherwise, but the BLM isn't just about the literal words used and that's the only thing I argue against. I don't know how true this is but I wouldn't be surprised. I hate all this pandering that's happening right now, but If it advances the conversations about Police Reform then I'm all for it. I don't need Blizzard to hire 100 black folks all of a sudden would be cool if they did but I don't NEED them to.

I think the real thing is a lot of companies feel indicted by what's going on because most of the top brass are WHITE therefore their guilt is speaking for them because they KNOW they have done very little if anything to be inclusive. It's all crashing down all at once and it needs to happen. The veil has been there for too long. America is ugly underneath it all and it needs to be shown in order to begin the process to fix it.

You have to admit there is a problem first. The problem is way bigger than Police Reform. Racism is the biggest issue and its in everything, mostly covert these days but its there. As I said its a lot of layers but Police Reform being at the front is a good thing. I'm not mad the conversation advances however it happens, but I'm not stupid enough to think suddenly all these white-owned corps care about me. They don't.

Driven by fear, many people will go to any length to undermine legitimate social movements in an effort to preserve inherent benefits and privileges they are afforded. Many people want to deny that it is about race, but it is, in fact about race.

I ask my white brothers and sisters to, just for a moment, consider that our country was built on the blood sweat and tears of people of color. That we do benefit from the institute of slavery. That the racial injustice that our black and Latinx communities are experiencing is real.

Do all all lives matter? Yes. But in the context of what’s going on in this country, ‘all’ lives aren’t subjected to the same social pressures, equally. Just like if your house is burning down, you call the fire department to save your house. We would agree that all houses in the neighborhood matter and should get the same response and protection from the fire department if their houses were burning too, but they aren’t burning at this time. So there’s no need for the fire department to waste time saving a house that isn’t burning. The one that matters in this situation is your house. Does that make sense?

I have been reading some of your responses, and it sounds to me you live in a very unsafe country and your life is endangered by "the police" and those who "kill people of black color". If I were in your shoes, I would move to a different country that was more in acceptance of your "skin". I would suggest most North to central African countries would suit you well, like for example Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zaire, Uganda, Mozambique and some others in that region. Those countries are mostly inhabited by people of your "skin", and therefore all the dangers you are currently experiencing will be over. Once you are settled in you can pickup the BLM movement and start a local chapter.
