Edit: To clear things up , I do not think anyone is an idiot for playing a game .

This post goes to show the types of people we are dealing with here at this site. I am a long time subscriber to SOE. I played Everquest. Then I played SWG. Now I play Everquest II.
I no longer subscribe to SWG, for obvious reasons. I am not vendictive and I have no plans to cancel my EQ2 account because of the poor decisions made for SWG. I won't cut off my nose to spite my face. I enjoy EQ2, so I subscribe and play.
If you think I am an idiot, then I'll wallow in my ignorance and be happy.
I enjoy playing SOE games at times.
Yes, this probably makes me an idiot for supporting such horrible management.
I just hope I dont end up in gaming hell for it.

You guys really need to take a step back and really read what you are posting.
Now now, they are a small group, I wouldn't consider them to be the respresenative of every user of this site just like I am sure you don't like being called an idiot in a sweeping statement by a rather simple minded poll.

I have no love for SOE after what they did to my character in SWG.
However if someone is enjoying their games let them.
I am not arrogant enough to call someone an idiot because they don't agree with my choice of games.
Support Bacteria, its the only culture some people have.
EQ2 is a good game. If it had a little faster pace and less blinding sprite imagery, I'd probably be all over it.

Yeh I agree, I've gone atleast 20 post without mentioning the l33t d3wds with a mental age of 7 and less braincells than (milk) teeth that populate the ghost towns of SWG! Come on man cut us some slack here!

Actually all I saw was a post by someone who was offended by a poll that was rude, uncalled for and technically qualifies for deletion under the 'trolling' rules here. You, on the other hand, have shown nothing but a snobbish attitude towards Obraik and other people who still (for whatever unfathomable reasons) enjoy SWG. Personally I think the NGE is garbage but if they enjoy it then that is their right.
The only snobs I've seen around here lately wear their ANTI-SWG hatred a little too proudly.

No it's not stockholm syndrome. Planetside is a lot of fun. I periodically subscribe to it then when I grow tired of it I cancel for a while. The only time I've held a constant sub for PlanetSide was when I was playing EQ2 and SWG (pre-CU and briefly post CU) so I had the All Access Pass since it just made financial sense. I was getting $43 worth of MMO games for $21.95. Once they published NGE and I went back to DAOC I cancelled my All Access Pass since DAOC is better, imo, than EQ2. I recently went back to Planetside because now that there are tons of people playing again it's a lot of fun.
So, like I said... who's the idiot? The person who says "if they want to play it, it's their business" or the person who thinks they know what everyone should like and would rather call anyone who dissagrees with them names?
Personally I'd rather be associated with people who play games I may or may not like than people so narrow minded that they find it necessary to call others names just because they play a game they don't like. You, sir, apparently fall into the 2nd category.

Still, it's just as off base to assume that all anti-SOE are idiots just as much as all fanboys are idiots. I've seen perfectly valid complaints go both ways.
