"Kingdoms of Elyria Management Sim" This is like Lance Armstrong releasing a "How to Stay Clean Management Sim". KoE and good management don't go together so hopefully the word management won't be in the title.

This is the studio that started developing a Voxel version of the game which had no effect on the development cycles of CoE. When it comes to Crowd Funded MMOs, the entire studio could go to the Moon for a month and that would have no effect on development cycles.

I like the part where people take a risk on a stupid project and donate 20 bucks then demand blood. I also like the fact this kid who runs the show has no idea what he is doing. Like not even aware of how the whole issue is presented. Still..Lol to people whining about their backer funds. Literally the only ones who care about this story are in fact said backers. The rest of it is just content to watch with popcorn. He's delivering the game unfinished so he can avoid you monsters calling for fed time on your 20 dollar backing lol.. It's a trashy looking game made by some doof who got way too ahead of himself. And also should never manage anyone again.

Well technically if I have my history right they:

Created a supposed pen and paper version to make sure they got the mechanics right
Created a MUD version
Created a Voxel version
Created a "PreElyria" version

And remember, all of that was supposed to SAVE money and speed up development.

Anyone who gives this guy a single PENNY deserves what they get. The Kickstarter people can maybe be excused for believing him and his unrealistic promises, but now? You give this guy anything and it's 100% on you.

Good point as i do too. When i was younger (kid) i traveled a lot with fam, we pretty much always flew Eastern Airlines... all the time.

One thing which always stuck with me was that Eastern planes were falling out of the sky, literally, so many and I probably said something like "i guess they are going to go out of business cause no one will fly with them anymore" only to hear as i was informed that their sales were never higher? and that any news is good news when it comes to advertising.

Ya, people, naive and dumb, will get burned thats a fact but smart people will take a min and read the comments. It sad to see. It does raise the question on if or how you report on stuff like this.

Umm... he raised almost $8M if I recall right. People spent tens of thousand of dollars on his made up promises.

People don't remember specific details, as i mentioned above all they remember is Easter Airlines, honey lets go somewhere, ok what airline? i dunno i heard Eastern is pretty good because its been blasted into their head from horrific front page news and radio/tv news at the time.

So it's free advertising, people will remember the name "Chronicles of Elyria" but will not remember the specifics so it comes out and let's hypothetically theorize a game did come out, peeps will read CoE the game or whatever and think oh yeah i heard of that, lets get it as it is in memory, why it's there is of no understanding, it's just familiar.

Like Facebook (which f me seriously thinking of moving to Australia) i mean, thank you, an entire country free of that trash that's heaven my friends. So yeah anything on facebook is news right, the real deal, the largest cess pool to ever exist.

Look at the situation, it'll probably drive Facebook stock up with all the free advertising. Also look at the pompous attitude of Facebook too right, take note, they are such fucking self entitled little children, that they feel like they can just Ban an entire country to teach them a lesson to not mess with Facebook.
