I said yes because I enjoyed SWG-Pre CU and I am bored with the current choices so I play EQ2 because my sister and some coworkers do, but would rejoin SWG SOE or not, just to play what I enjoyed

In short answer, Yes. But I'd like to share the following:
1) The employed programmers and staff are aware to the fact that they SOE failed and blew it.
2) I don't know if they are aware that there are people in this world who like things different from your typical mmo 4-10 class grind. They had a gem of a sandbox. It was very unique. Albeit, not everyone liked the game, but 250-300k of people like me sure prefered it over a lot of things now.
3) I don't ever see them making any classic servers what so ever. At least under SOE. Why? Because if they did, they'd be admiting they made a mistake. Then at the speed of sound, every person who was playing pre NGE that changed their character, would want it returned to its original state. Would want their houses back and all the goodies inside. (I know for a fact my house is gone and all 3 years of rare crap I had in there.) Thats one of the reasons I don't go back now. The other is because they took the best crafting game ever literally shit on it.
I find it truely amazing that whomever was behind this whole thing wasn't fired immedately, hired back, and fired again right away. twice just for effect sake because firing someone once on an all time flop like this just wouldn't do it justice. They literally went trench mining face first with their company name. It amazed me to watch it happen. I wasn't even playing at the time. And really havent said anything till now. Just read a lot.
Pre-CU/CU Didn't matter that much to me. I was a Weaponsmith prior to the CU then a MBH/Carb after. I took a break for about 3 months while the change happened. Hated the god mode doc buff era. no fun. I miss logging on and my tell bell going off like a grandma winnin' at bingo, before I even see the game screen. (everybody had their prefered weaponsmith) Was kind of interesting. Crafting was definately my thing in this game. harvesting was great too.

As much as SOE has screwed things up, I have to say I would return in a heartbeat if they opened up "classic" servers. Tried many different MMOs and nothing compares to old SWG

It sounds great but just thinking of all the things that have happened with that company in the last year or so
While I wouldn't like the idea of giving those dishonest, arrogant, greedy people at SOE anymore money, I would have to. I would suck up my pride and resubscribe. I just had too much fun. My answer: yes. Anything short of classic servers would not bring me back.
I think there's still much to be desired by the Pre CU SWG, It just didn't feel liek Star Wars I find and even if they made pre CU servers, they would have to make some serious changes to the game I think for it to be truly great. so nope I don't think I'll be back till they make SWG 2.
