They will put the sub back with perks ,(9.99 has been discussed before) ive been involved at that community since it shutdown , and many folks are willing to pony up for that ..
Game has strong potential for cash shop cosmetics also .. Which i really see happening after they get it up and bringing in a cash flow ,..

Ikcin in response to yours sincerely debating whether or not single-player offline MMOs exist...
'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'

2024: 47 years on the Net.
I enjoyed it but never got hooked enough for it to become my main game.
Yes and I quite enjoyed it. It was very buggy but the support staff were on hand, courteous and quite prompt at helping you out of a bind if a game stopping bug was encountered. The only real problem with the game was lack of new content. After awhile the brunt of the player base ran out of new things to do and moved on to greener pastures. Hopefully this revival will help them to add new content to the game.
Really looking forward to getting back into it.
I wonder... I was a subscriber and had a ton of coins saved up. Any chance they will honor those? ;-P
Yes, fantastic game!
Any chance they will honor the accumulated benefits of previous subscribers? I was a subscriber for a long time, right up until shutdown, and I had quite a bit of saved up sub benefits.
Yes I was one of the original beta testers. Fun game while it lasted. But sadly I had to quit due to lack of content
Top 3 MMO's PRE-CU SWG GW1 GW2
Worst 2 wow and Lotro Under standing stones it went woke
No
IIRC it was f2p before they took it down...I remember they severely limited how much money you could have to the point where you couldnt even sell an item on the market for much at all......If it is going to be like that again, then theres no point in playing.....ALso the PVP aspect of it is a pain, hopefully they dont enforce that....if it was just a f2p PVE game it would be great.
Perhaps this latest reincarnation will fare better.

That's kind of the same experience I had plus lots of bugs. In addition to that my PC wasn't strong enough to run it smoothly but I still had lots of fun and enjoyed the setting a lot.
Really looking forward to check this out again after so long.
Now if only Wildstar could return aswell!
Do you think the world was too big, and they just couldnt fill in enough content?...I only made it to low 20s so I didnt see all that much of the world, but it did feel like things were getting further apart.
I liked the first game.
