Do you remember Final Stand: Ragnarok? As a quick refresher, FS:R is an online co-op, action-based looter game created by Camelot Unchained developer City State Entertainment. Initially, when FS:R was announced, it made some waves throughout the Camelot Unchained kickstarter community, but since then both Camelot Unchained and Final Stand: Ragnarok have continued their development, which has resulted in the latter's Early Access release.

Of course, it doesn't have any positive reviews, either.
Its currently all time peaking at one player.......

This is a better way than doing an inital coin offering for a game?
all this article is a joke: engine for thousand but 10 players max, increase of price as it grown, big pissed reptile in steam presentation...
nice ^^
With Ragnarök is looks like people have decided that they don't like what they see.
With a ICO or IGO investers would get actual currency or items they could keep or sell freely depending on the direction of the game, and the deveolpers don't have to worry about returns.
It was me but it was an accident.
Fk, now its peaking at TWO players, its like a runaway train!!

I've got one too...
My thoughts in no specific order...
Tutorial voice acting is good. It's obvious they put time & thought into the initial presentation.
Download of 2.7gb took almost 15 min. I can dl BDO 60gig in that same amount of time.
Game presentation UI & polish is bare bones but clean.
Game runs smoothly, no jumps or spikes.
Mob movements are insanely fast flailing and gave me a migraine by the end of the 5 min tutorial. You must constantly attack 360 degrees so the constant moving of angles along with the unreal fast movements of mobs made me nauseous.
Game is as it's labelled 'hack n slash' where you are constantly killing mobs and looting + using items. IMO it's a very fast paced game and too fast for me. Maybe if they give another option of viewing similar to AARPG but with the current view unless you're 25 years old don't see how that type of fast gameplay can appeal to older gamers(50+). Eye problems, weak wrists etc.. I would prefer slower mobs with higher hp with less eratic movements.
City State adding the game to steam in such a stable working condition should be applauded though along with the 'potential' the game has in terms of improving because like I said before it is bare bones but it definitely has room to grow.
Having online multiplayer option is no small feat to accomplish as any developer will tell you but they seem to have pulled it off with not much effort? That in itself in 2021 for an early access game right out the gate is IMO a great accomplishment. It means that for any game they make in the future online multiplayer will not be labor/stress heavy when in some cases for other developers it's their biggest hurdle.
There are worse games added to Steam than this regularly and you must admit it takes brass balls to add it there with the risk of being review bombed over CU drama.
Is $20 too much for the game as it is now? Maybe, but considering that they pull in 30% less after the Steam cut I see it as a loyal to gamers move by adding it to the platform that many of us use rather than a Epic 'exclusive' or something like that.
IMO Adding the game to Steam for $20 isn't a cash grab in the big scheme of things compared mobile monetization.
It's obvious one way or another that MJ will continue to make games whether we approve of what they are or not so maybe we should forgive and forget rather than cling to bitterness. If we accept that we're both in this for the long haul maybe better things can come of this symbiotic relationship rather than the next couple decades of anger and resentment towards one another.
