somehow they even fucked up their fix for DST timers, so they are still broken. show up to a boss, find out after 15 minutes of waiting, to come back in an hour instead.
also the racing minigame is wrong hours now too.
getting really tired of amazon's incompetence. its exhausting.

Guessing you guys have lots of playtime so far like 500 or so?

Seems like the current auto ban algorithm seems to target flag peoples with lots of hrs played so far and/or lots of afk time in game, due to waiting on dungeon queues and whatnot.

If the AGS ban appeal team wasn't totally useless and could actually looking into appeals in a timely manner that would be a super great start...

......however at this rate they are going to drive this game to the same state NW is in, the only reason it is not right now is because the base game itself, made by smilegate, is much better and more polished and NW...however amazon seems hard at work to make sure it does reach NW heights!

i got 500+ hours played and not banned. didnt watch the entire video, but the guy he immediately mentions was a obvious RMT gold buyer, who bypassed all the $1000 a day cash shop limitations and managed to get a 1490 ilvl, like 100+ ilvls over most people in the server

Like I said in my other thread I am sure a good number that got banned due to last night autoban algorithm were merited HOWEVER I know for sure lots of innocents got caught in that algorithm.

Innocents being caught in the algorithm is the problem, it happens in lots of game however appeals in other games tend to work if you truly are innocent, sadly this is not the case for AGS.

I get tired of the cynical crap sometimes where if we are to go that way everyone under the sun is dirty cheater that deserves their ban even peeps with 10 or 15 year old steam accounts they were never banned for anything etc.

Seems we have evolved into a guilty until proven innocent mentality and then say boohoo so sad too bad when their appeal tools are broken and do not work.

yeah i edited my comment after looking at the video past the first part. I'm just really sick of seeing asmongold's face plastered on every search result on youtube for lost ark. his videos are mostly misinformation and he knows next to nothing in regards to the game. after his hour long interview of some "whale" other streamers could see after 5 seconds the guy was a RMT and a liar. he's really clueless and shouldn't be making videos or having dialog with the devs. the game will suffer if they listen to this guy

I am not shilling for anyone, I don't even watch his vidoes mostly or follow him on twitch, think this is like the second or third video I watch of his.

Frankly all the streamer hate on this site gets old.

That said I think you missed the point, try putting the hate aside and use some logic.

If you want to make a point on innocent people, your prime example should be common folk. Loud voices don't equate to the truth. It's as if America didn't happen.

That thread was actually sad, no pathetic really to see the large number of addicts jonezing over not being able to play or horrors, "falling behind"

Tales of folks spending 18 or even 20 hours a day playing, they need an intervention for their own good.

If I was related to anyone that bad I'd have them Baker acted (committed) or at the very least locked down in the basement, without any electronics.

BS, what we are talking about... ban algorithms.... we have to speculate much about it since we don't have access to things behind the scenes and code etc so yeah just cause someone might get the particulars wrong a little doesn't mean the main point that there is an issue with the auto ban system and appeal cs isn't valid and correct

This game is as awful as new world, i just quit it, the game company is so lazy that they dont even spend their pathetic time to ban gold farmers. There are tons of spammers in public talk and we have to get used to it.

The gold rate drops rapidly every day, even every hour, its the only game i dont purchase gold from Russian and Chinese, Miracle!

He did spend about $15000, so there is that. Not sure what their opinion is regarding creating new accounts to buy stuff and trade with your main.

if D2 was made by AGS...it would have been a disaster There are lvling bots in this game that can probably make a char to 50 in less than 24 h

the amount of bots vs actual player count is insane. if you look at the % of classes, its literally 80+% of the entire playerbase are bots.

its a massive problem, and no, the game still has a ton of issues and amazon is dead silent about them all. They keep "acknowledging" issues, and doing nothing about it.

I believe its due to the way the content pipeline works from korea to global, and amazon has to wait til next block of content patch from smilegate at the start of each month. so do not expect any word from amazon until April, they will probably release roadmap a week prior to the patch.

Thing is some of the people who get banned are real players who use auto pathing macros (on/off auto walking macro) for getting on boats, platforms, or moving around islands or just afking. Really they are just too lazy to hold down a mouse button to move. I get it, but if it's triggering bans, maybe hold off on using it until they build a more creative way to detect bots; which in my opinion the best way to stop bots is to start at the account making process.

Some people claim using auto clickers/macro programs get you caught up in these bans waves but not if the macros are via mice or keyboard software that is standard from brands like logitech, razer ,corsair etc, etc.

Launch queues are fixed, which has the big launch issue. Now they have huge botting problems.

I haven't seen any real impact from the bots outside of local spam but I'm a lower level (GS460) player who doesn't use the market.

So they still haven't fixed their DST issues. Now the event race works properly with the actual time but the in game clock is now one hour ahead.

It's freaking embarrassing that they can't get their poop together over a freaking clock.
