I have honestly always felt sympathy for most of the haters here because it's clearly evident you wish the game could be something you want and I really don't buy the `Entertainment` or `Burn in hell Farlan` attitudes. Simply childish responses to legitimate questions that seems no one can answer straight.

And like I stated in a previous post soemwhere. EVERYONE has their own point of view. In the end we are ALL just gamers trying to find a decent game to play.
Who is to judge who really is wrong or right? I guess only in time will we truely tell who is and who isn't.
Some of those that think they are right will find out they are wrong. Some of those that are wrong will find out they are right. Some will move on accepting the facts while others will deny it to the grave.
But we all have a point of view and they all differ and that is why we are all human. It will just really be just up to the passing of time to see what will happen.

As you know curently its still on NDA so ... I doubt that staff and MMORPG.COM supports NDA violations, some of the posts was already deleted some time ago.
The NDA was effectively lifted by Farlans acceptance of the posts already posted that have been allowed to stay, the posts they made themselves regarding the status, the plan of action and its current state. Just TRY to have Farlan enforce it. The NDA was broken and broken by themselves. Once again, google legal, law NDA's and you will certainly know that as of the first public announcement of the current state, status adn thier details given is in of itself grounds of incurring a null and void on the NDA.
Farlan and fanbois are trying to scare everyone with it and why? They want us all to shut up about just how lousy this game is. They want us to shut up and allow them to scam ppls money (scam being lie to them, promise them the world, take their money and tell them to piss off) . When the game goes down, they will blame us and not their own incompetence in all areas of game production and marketing. As far as the stress test, yes I got in , for 7 mins. I moved and I disconnected. Two days of trying and I get in for 7 mins. This is not an NDA break however as they have asked players to send in their computer information to help with this newest AXEMAN bug. As far as Im concerned, as a CURRENT DNL player, this game does more to raise frustrations than raise any hope. And Im not a hateboi nor a fanboi.

Also players are sick of paying for unfinished mmorpg:s (ex: Anarchy Online (first months), Mourning, Face of Mankind, SWG, DDO to some extent, Horizons) just because the people in charge want fast payoff. With Farlan it has gone to the extreme where pre-orders could not be cancelled (was changed but that doesnt make up for it) & the download only purchase is MORE expensive than mmorpg:S that are sold WITH a middlehand.
The common excuse "they are not a big company" is useless because noone is holding a gun to there heads forcing them to spout alot of hype & promise (& immoral business tactics), EVE-online proves a small company can make a mmorpg without lying their heads off.

Something constructive about the stress testing....hmmmm...lesseee.........maybe they should have kept it in alpha/beta testing behind closed doors without letting anyone in for another two years, as it stands now, it still isnt ready and I highly doubt it will be any different in 4 days time. But go ahead and post a "wait and see" response, or maybe a " the flying is awesome" response...oh I know..how about the great "it was a miscommunication on the part of the "long standing history in the gaming industry" company and then add, for good measure the ultimate "We meant it to happen that way".

Same here. How is it that some people can run the test for 10 minutes and know it sucks, yet others can't? To me, that is the most fasinating thing about this whole SoG/DnL fiasco. It's so bleeding obvious when you actually try and play the game that it's alphaware at best.
I bet that even after DnL fails completely, and the game goes offline for good and the official forums are shut down, there will still be posts on other forums with people claiming "How great DnL was. What a shame that the fans killed it." As if it had nothing at all to do with the incompetence of Farlan/NP3.
