I did a lot of huffing and puffing to find SSG, their headquarters and address, doesn't exist.
Sent multiple BBB reporots too SSG at present address and Daybreak's neither responded.
The actual authority comes from the board room at EG7. Right now they are using SSG for tax write off for yearly loses. This works to a %, but once that % reaches far below the tax deduction threshholds they will close the game down and make a final cash in on losses. imho.
It really just depends on the contracts in place.

Job listings suggest they are in Needham Massachussetts (But likely under the name Daybreak Games LLC)

Your google fu is lacking my friend.
they aren't there.
Hopefully for fans it will exist at least until Amazon's does release though.
that address
They exist and people have successfully taken them to Small Claims Court and another did it through their bank. I also know of one streamer that got a job there pre COVID. Dunno if they all work remotely these days but I doubt it. If you are trying to get at them legally you can.
I won't return to their game until they add 2FA as they've offered zero help to people that had theirs hacked.
Aren't they in Needham, MA? The share a building with Turbine which is now WB.

that entire building is empty. Only a realitor would show case the space on google maps.
BBB is worthless so I don't know what you expected there.
You're only recourse is to taking them to court or get payments reversed. As those are the two avenues I know people have taken. You'll need some good records for that though, especially if it was a lifetime account.
but atleast it actually runs unlike D&D online, that game is so outdated it refuses to let you even launch the game
I wish we had a DDO 2.0 with an upgraded engine and graphics etc
Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.
Yeah, they are probably more concerned about Star Citizen launching then.
I never played WoW, so LoTRO was my WoW experience.
Based on Amazon's checkered record with MMO's, and their shredding of Tolkien lore with Rings of Power, I'm not very optimistic about the new game.
