I gave DnL the review it deserves: DnL sucks, don't buy it! *red alert, red alert - scam detected* There Vuuar - my revenge for all the wasted hours I spent helping to build your community. May DnL burn to ashes and rest in pieces on the MMOG graveyard. Even the already failed MMOGs to date were better than DnL will ever be.

*smiles* I guess you had to make my experiences aswell to come to the conclusion that DnL does not deserve volunteering time for it. I wonder if Lepidus needs a reviewer for DnL - I'd volunteer for that

Now that it's been confirmed I can say that has to be one of the weirdest things I've ever heard from a dev.
Why do I get visions that in Vuuarr's office there's a bulletin board with a hierarchy of posters from here like the FBI does with mob families? Probably has Kilim rated at the same level as the Godfather, and I probably rate the same as some street thug's mistress. Bah.

I just do not get it when all I ever posted in that forum are facts followed by quotes with links.
I can easily name 10 people that breaks their beloved Forum Rules worst than ANYTHING I have ever posted.
Because teh diffrence between those people and me is this.
I post FACTS and NOT trollism, conspiracy theories, or assumptions.
Because there is nothing more that I hate in life than LIARS.

That and the fact that guy is a friend of Vuuar doing guerilla marketing.

I can only bow with respect to Vuuarr. French is my main language.
What you obviously fails to understand is...He want peoples to come here to talk POSITIVELY about the game. The guy is devastated by what happen here and is really hoping to make stuff better. The tone of his message would pretty much be like if John Smedley would be saying, to his staff, please go to that site in your free time, talk with them, give them a better idea. Now there is 1 big difference, Culturally SoE doesn't need to do that, a French company might understand some level of english, but they have to understand the cultural values as well, and despite all my time, I am not sure I can say I understand english values that well, just enough to get some rough basics I guess.
Personnally I stay far from DnL, but I always held them in my upmost respect. If you keep trashing this game, I might have to finally give it a try just to tell you what is good and deserve praises in this game, because nothing is ever completely white or black, there is always grey zones.
This game certainly can't be that bad, especially not after I read this blog, in French. Reading the words mean nothing if you can't understand what they mean, praise Alta Vista, it won't help you here.
I talk with them, in French. I don't agree with them on their design orientation, but again I don't agree with SoE, Vanguard, Blizzard and most companies out there. Yet, they where always kind, professionnal and careful.
All your Blog is showing is that Vuuar care a LOT about what is been told here on his game. A LOT. There is nothing wrong with that, Cryptic was wearing proudly the MMORPG.com award they get! They put it on the front page, in the news, in the patch message. I would do the same if I would get such an award, but it is pretty hard, I don't developp MMO...for now!

There wouldn't be a PROBLEM of posting anything POSITIVE about D&L if there is actually anything POSITIVE to post.

Like you have stated, you have never even touched this game called D&L.
Many of us have!
Some of us have even been in this community for YEARS!
Instead of bashing on the people that are posting NEGATIVE feedback on D&L that actually has touched D&L, why not give it a try yourself so you can get the full experience and understand why so many people are giving it such NEGATIVE feedback.
How can you argue against something when you have NOT fully experienced what you are arguing against?

I will not try DnL myself, I don't like the 'vision' they have for this game. But trashing peoples over a try to convince his staff to come here to talk and explains, that is kinda lowly.
This guy work on this project for YEARS, he is talking with peoples who have been working on the project for years as well, I don't see how this is asking peoples to LIE as you put it. I am no DnL fan and never was, but this is troll bashing for the fun of finding excuses to trash them. This has NOTHING to do with their game, you are trashing them for WORKING on their public image.
What you are doing is lowly. Vuuar obviously believe and dreams about this DnL thingy, he is devastated, crushed, about what was said here on his game. The fact he is French and partially understanding what is been said here, made him all the more vulnerable, since his english understanding side is less developped, it is also less mature on an emotional level, just like if I would start ill talking about SoE in French, those who speak some level of french would prolly be mortified, especially if they still dreams and believe about SoE.

And you do know that the IRC Chat log is just a PUBLIC IRC Chat right?
You have to realise also that ANY gaming companies reason for making the game is MONEY!
A business is fully started for profit!
Is it my fault that he is unable to give the community what he has promised?
Do I really need to care that I have hurt his itsy witsy heart and feelings because of the NEGATIVE feedback he has received from his announcements?
You do realize that I am just a customer practically posting my complaints about a product that did not deliver?
Are you trying to tell us now that EVERYONE here that has been giving NEGATIVE feedback due to poor customer service and product is not warranted?
So please, answer my questions above as I really want to know the answers to them.
