Leaning towards Empire so I can slaughter all the overwhelming number of "cool, evil" Chaos 12 year olds invading our homeland.

Only thing i'm ever going to play is Chaos, Was a bit surprised to see i'm far from alone on this.
Contrary to whats been said by an above poster, younger people tend to choose the "good" side (see wow's faction balance on every server), maybe the reason not so many are interested in that with this game is less younger people are going to be playing, which i seriously hope.
I imagine things will be pretty balanced by launch, right now all we've seen is the greenskins so it's no shock the "bad guys" are more popular for now, but i'm sure theres going to be lots of amazing things for the other side.

1. The develpoers are having problems with chaos from the start since it is by far the most played race in Warhammer, which naturally contributes to a high number of players going for that team.
2. They have released more information about the dwarves than the greenskins atm so it should be the other way around...
A bit tired of playing "good" characters (currently Alliance in WoW), so i am looking for something nasty - but i guess that's where all the kids will play. I like being challenged in open world PvP.
TBH i don't know too much about the Warhammer universe, but all WoW "goodiness" makes me scream. No decent PvP, no roaming around.
Nothing better than taking down your opponent after a long merciless hunt. Which race / class (if there is any information on that out yet) would you people recommend for a player who is bored with being nice ?
And I hope you go for Dark Elves since they are far more wicked and full of hate towards their enemy than Chaos is! Chaos just wants to kill and destroy...

For me I usually choose Human since they are the "template" race that everything else is based on. However if my friends choose to join the dark side then I will choose something over there. I like choosing races based on the class I want to play and it all depends how many people are already playing that race/class. I don't want to be part of the cookie cutter classes.
Its quite interesting to see now that 90 people have voted all the "evil" (what is evil really, is it evil to want to slaughter your enemies families and sacrifice their pets to the dark goods... if that is evil, we are all evil!) races are more popular.
If you, for example, look at WoW the "good" races are much more popular. Does this mean that the evil races will be more popular when the game comes out? Im not so sure, because I bealive that most of the people who are allready following this game (here on mmorpg.com) are proparly veteran gamers, ergo... older gamers.
The only thing I will try as I might to avoid the kids and never play those rotten spoiled and sissy High elves!
Now, I picked high elf myself. I really, really love the look they sport, and the strife they've been involved in in Warhammer's history.
But... I'll no doubt pick the side that's outnumbered. Why? Because I love an underdog in any fight. If I had to pick the other side, probably Dark Elves.
Strangely enough, I've never ever played an elf in any MMO, or, for that matter, few RPGs of any kind. I have struggled to avoid the cliche of it as much as humanly possible. I guess I should do it at least once, to say I have.
Most likely going to have to pick high elves due to the magic background. if there's no class that allows for immense fire power through magic for the high elves then it's going to be dwarves. just looking at them makes me smile
