In the spirit of the NGE's TWO WEEK RELEASE NOTICE...

You've seen the reviews...
You've heard the veterans...
You've played the NOT-GOOD-ETHICS downgrade...
Players are now *begging* for basic features like:
- camps that work
- specials that work
- specials that look... special?
- animations that... animate?
- target lock that... locks?
- meditation pose?
- scalable UI? radar?
- faction support
- creature taming
- *voluntary* holo-emotes
- *voluntary* cross-hair
- *voluntary* camera angle
- ability to see overt teammates
- diversity?
- economy?
- Star Wars continuity?
Wait... Didn't we have all this? Are we paying for rations of a rollback?
Some of the "new enhancements" include:
- recycled entertainer effects used as combat effects
- recycled JTL effects used as ground combat effects
- broken animations for ALL CREATURES
- broken animations for ALL DROIDS
- floating DEFAULT POSE for PLAYERS IN COMBAT
- NO MORE BEAUTIFUL MOTION CAPTURED PLAYER MOVES
- 23 LESS classes to choose from
- excessive use of particle effects sometimes even blinding
- thousands and thousands of items on bazaar DISABLED
- huge player investment in time and collection reduced to NOTHING

Oh, and: The NGE improved? Beat this.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. By continuing to support the game, even though you hate it, you are doing a diservice to the overall community, to the memory of the original game, and to the Star Wars franchise.
The only language SOE and LA understands is $$. The only way to make them listen to what the customer base wants is by cutting off the money through mass cancelations. As long as SWG turns a profit, SOE will continue to short change its customers.
We can't ask for change, we must force it. With mass cancelations, SOE and LA will be forced to listen to the wants and desires of the playerbase, and forced to make the changes that are wanted in game.
I have resubbed once since I canclled in DEC, and have since uninstalled SWG. The only way SOE ever gets any of my money, is either classic servers, rollback or a complete change in direction with the NGE to include a hard target lock, auto attack, and the addition or some new professions(a ranger/ch type of profession). Unless SOE and LA go back to the core RPG/Virtual world elemnts of the game, instead of this console style of action adventure game play, no SOE game will ever come anywhere near my computer, and that includes Vanguard. And if the EMU beats them to it, then I will support a private server for the EMU with the money that SOE could have been getting from me.

I have a very real problem with SWG. Carpal tunnel syndrome.
When I have to use mouse, I do it by keeping back of my palm on the desk, and move the mouse with thumb and fifth finger, using forth finger to rotate it, not moving my wrist at all. While also a good technique for precision movement (including graphics and FPS gaming), it's something I cannot do with SWG, despite adjusting dead zone (since start of CU). The movements required for camera movement and switching between modes simply requires steps that are too large.
As end result, playing longer than 10 minutes, SWG causes me physical pain. Literaly.

Hehe. I can't comply with this mass cancellation, as I cancelled the day of the CU. I did play my 15 day free trial of the NGE... played about 2 hours of that garbage.

I see you have caught the bait. The E3 video only convinced me more what kind of garbage gameplay NGE is.
AT-ST fell down *TWICE*. (example of broken animations)
AT-AT slides like it's on roller skates.
Notice how the jedi player was walking? Even they know that running looks ridiculous. Are you impressed by flashy explosions and re-used particle effects?
I suggest you play BattleFront 2 in the Hoth map you will realize what an insult that Restuss thing is.
This game was built as an RPG and should focus on RPG quality elements. Not this half-ass hacked up crap that we have now. One day you'll understand, I hope.

Actually, it's not. People in-game and on the forums are taking about it, and preparing to cancel. Our whole Guild is canceling, even those that plan on resubbing. I know of over 40 people doing this personally, including the 8 WoW'ers I bought into the game. I've gotten 4 in-game emails from people I know asking me to do this, one with a list on it with over 30 people I didn't know.
It's a statement, and it will get attention. It's a movement that's been growing for weeks, and it will have an impact, just wait...

Eclipse server has already cancelled. It is more dead then I ever imagined. Give the paying customers something worthy of playing!
It may be true that SOE will not listen, but this is the equivalent of somebody screaming bloody murder at the top of thier lungs directly into SOE's ear. They can choose not to listen (as they have done in the past), but they cannot choose not to notice. And as with anybody screaming at the top of their lungs, what might be worse is if others (i.e., news media) also took notice. Secondary repercussions could result, causing a final nail to be put into SOE's coffin with regard to this franchise.

Yes, the Restuss event is appealing to me so yeah, I am looking forward to it. Personally, I don't care what it looks like if I'm having fun. I'm not subbed for Restuss alone anyway, I'm subbed because I enjoy the game as a whole and have been enjoying it since July 03.
totally agree, those ppl who continue to pay subs but are unhappy with gameplay are basically telling SOE "Good job, we love the NGE"
i sympathize, believe me, cancelling recently was not easy for me. but i did it b/c i love the game. if you care about SWG at all, you will cancel if you havent already.
i cancelled the last of my 4 accts 10 days ago, and will never return until the announcement of classic servers is made.

amazing... i just watched this and WOW.
have you seen the "new" saber effect thingy? its like a giant yellow STAR flash thing (think batman) and a weird drum noise.... yes a weird DRUM noise from a saber!

@Obraik: It's not about if you have fun or not... It's about how they deal with loyal costumers. Mybe tomorrow they will make new chancges that will make you quit just becouse you feeded em with all the money. And then we will all spam you with "I told ya so".
