Well, you won´t know what you´re missing untill you´ve tried Ryzom
The crafting and the involved puzzeling with different Materials and Qualitys and colors and whatnot, is simply mindbogglingly complex. I´m still trying to get my head around it but I love it, it´s Mind-Jogging

I recommend Goonzu. The whole game is crafting. The only thing is if you wanna artisan you need to make him him seperate from your warrior because each lvl up you have a choice to lvl up crafting or a weapon technique. Its a pretty good enviornment, because if you choose to make a warrior there are specific characters who are skilled in a craft to do the deed for you and they are choosen by GMs so they are trustworthy.

Best crafting game atm I think is Horizons.  It's fantasy, skill based, and you have both a  crafting and an adventure (combat) school active at any one time.  You can also literally have all the schools (there's over 50) on one character.  It's a very good fantasy game if you DON'T want PvP, because it's PvE only (we're all on the same side).  The best gear is ALL player-created.  Mobs drop components to "tech" the gear (i.e., add enhancements and effects to the gear) and even tools have techs.  Player structures (5 different construction crafting skills alone).  It's also got a lot of variety and charm, and they update frequently.  After it's rocky start a couple of years ago, it's really settled down into a very good MMO, with a good, mature community (no PvP keeps a lot of the problems away), good customer support and has even added to its development staff recently to increase content.  If you like crafting and fantasy, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

Horizons is the one checking I'm out now and think I'll stay with.  The interface was easy to learn.  They have a newbie channel that people are even on to help out.  I met alot of people who were nice enough to help a noob out.

Crafting is interesting.  So I think I found a new home for a while at least.  I'm on the chaos server name is ciyisa if anyone wants to check the game out send a tell i'll help you  learn the ropes  lol or help with what I know so far.
