So you're saying, the Arabs are bound to attack Israel, because they beleive the land is theirs, and Israel is bound to fight the Arabs, because the Arabs want the land it believes is its own. The only logical ending to this is to stand by the side and let them fight it out, until someone wins definitively.

both sides, in my mind have a common ground in that the poor are getting duped by the rich. i believe if people could think about the conflict in those terms, they'd realize the land didnt mean that much and that they're own governments and power structures were using them instead.
i think the definition of 'enemy' might become people in general who explain that only through violence can peace be achieved.

Yes it sounds silly, attacking thousands of people because 1 of your army men got held hostage, but you cannot do such a thing and expect them to release all terrorist so more people can go bomb Israel. And what about countries like Iran.
But I don't think for world war, I think for an war in the middle east, whats already being going on. And if you would maybe keep all of the fights out there and don't terrorize Europe for trying to help citizen, I would perhaps care.
Edit: And in my opiniong USA are terrorists too, but why would the EU or anyone dare to fight the USA? We can sure fight war with USA, but trust me, thats not going to be good for anyone on this planet.

If indeed Israel targeted civilian - heck it could easily make 1 000 000 casualities in one day , it could make Beirut a black burning crater.

Its not that Israel is only attacking civilians...its that they don't give a damn about who they kill when they go for military targets. In today's newspaper, there was an article about how the Israelis dropped a bomb on shelters with food and medicine. A journalist was right there to witness it. And when the Israelis were asked about it, they said rockets were stored in there.
Anyways, I'm not saying that Hezbollah doesn't attack civilians...of course they do. But Israel isn't as righteous as you make them out to be.
I am not trying to make them look righteous. Israel army is shit and relentles. They do kill civilians in their bomb attacks..

it's true that most land has been stolen from someone or somethings.... humans have wiped out most of the natural species in north america. just ask any old person how less frequently you see certain animals.

technically, the best way for them to end the conflict, is to capture millions of palestinians, and slowly eradicate their minds and beliefs... put them in camps, force them to go to schools that teach them to become israelies

Israel wants Lebanon to be a peaceful neighbour. It can seize Lebanon any time it wants and has done before. The last thing Israel wants is to garrison Lebanon. No profit and 600 dead is what they got out of the previous occupation.
