Stay away from that girl, she is not respecting your personality when she gets mad when ever you play. In a relationsship there must be room for the needs and desires of both partners. If your partner hinders you living out one of yours permanently (and that is "when ever") you will hate it sooner or later and that means you start hating her ... and that is the end of relationsship.

yeh getting a girlfriend will do it...but i didnt stop cuz she got mad. i stoped cuz i wanted to be with her more than i wanted to be with this guy who has a girl avatar ingame . my girlfriend lets me play all i want but i also have to take into consideration her needs.

P.S. what ever you do NEVER but NEVER EVER dont even think about it: im tired im going to bed... (close msn aim wtv and open guildwars/wow/eve/wtv) and start playing. or blow off a date because you want to play

Insomnia isn't the problem, your job is.  You just need to quit your job so you can play when you want and sleep when your body wants--problem solved, lol.

As someone mentioned, the insomnia is due to actively using your brain right before bed - you would find similar insomniatic results if you had a heated discussion right before bed. I find I have a hard time falling asleep if I have gamed an hour before bed. If I gamed and went right to bed afterwards, I would have game images racing through my head for an hour while trying to sleep.

Basically, good sleep hygiene calls for quiet activities before bed. So, read the paper or a book, DON'T game before bed, and perhaps listen to soft music, anything to slow down your cerebral activity...

It's quite easy to quit an MMORPG: Give away your gear/sell it/disenchant/what-ever-you-can-do-in-your-MMORPG.
    Delete your characters. Cancel subscribtion.
While this sounds like a tough way to do it, i promise you.. You will get an VERY awesome feeling afterwards. Suddenly, you feel free - And the idea about, you just destroyed what you worked so long for.. Is great!!

Anyway, i sleep generally 4-5 hours a night, and work fulltime. So how you can be exhausted the next day, is beyond my imagination.

Anything that you love doing might/could create insomnia...

That sex beast tall blond with sweet lips could keep you up all night too.

Moral of the story: Power to those who don't sleep, for they show they can get passionate in this life about "something".

The real zombies are those who actually sleep and wake up at the same time everyday like robots.

What deserves to be done, deserves to be "well" done...

Have you ever had a job? Now, sure, i'd like to sleep till 10AM sometimes. But i'm pretty sure my boss would be pissed, if i didn't meet up at 07:45AM.

Yeah, i actually worked since i'm 16 years old, which makes me 15 years old on the market now. "Maybe" your solution is to become your own boss?

Average adult need 8 hours sleep, few people need just 6 hours sleep. You claim sleeping 5 hours or less. It's would not be the cup of joe that harms you put the fact you aint giving your brains proper rest. In the end I dont even belive your claim of sleeping 5 hours or less.

I think I only know one person that gets a full eight hours of sleep a night, and she's kind of, how you say, dumb and rather boring.

Personally, I've been sleeping 4-5 hours for the past several years, not because I force myself to stay up, but because I simply can't stay asleep any longer than that. I don't think your "average" is very average at all, who sleeps a full 8 hours a day?
