SOE told me If I made one more CSR ticket ingame about the Expertise Bug, then My account would be Punished.
I was pointing out to them that this is a Serious issue and they Are gona Punsih me?
I have the Official screen shot, just happened today!
PS very sorry to start a new topic But I need this info to reach any and ALl gaming magazines. I need to email this to every major Gaming magazine.

well the reason i have just sprung up on these forums from no where is they threatend my nephew with a ban for asking for help with the droid factory quests.
He had my acount an well he dosnt anymore. I would have thought by now a company with such a bad PR reputation would at least make an effort to clear its image. (shrug)
Ive normally kept my disgust with that company to myself but that made my blood boil.

Please, Please do not tell us that SOEs CSRs are flawless and help people even 80% of the time.
Do NOT do that, I have been around way to long and it is one thing to say somthing about thier CSR staff is not even somthing to argue as we know for being great.
You will lose this argument if that is your point.... I would bet alot more of the CSR being moronic then the customer 50 times over. I have delt with a few and so far, my grandmother who is 84 has a better chance of helping me.

I'm just saying SOE wouldn't do that for no reason, something he's not telling us must of happened. I've have a flawless xp with SOE's customer service, they've always been fast and polite and helped
People that normally have a problem are often twats who ask em silly questions. They only help and answer you if its something they should be helping u with.
Asking them where a building is for example is wrong.

In that case, you can get banned.
So asking them why a quest isnt updating is somehow needles. asking them 24 hours Later is troublemaking.

I almost quit because of it. Mine concerned a harvestor deleted (back when maintance was turned on) because of a serious of screw ups in the notification system and couple of other things. I did figure out one of things I complained about, I realized was working as intended.
But it is a stupid Customer Service attitude to ban someone for making legitimate bug reports.

No, it's not. If you spam them, you get warned to stop it. If you don't, you get banned. Sending one ticket on an issue is enough. Period. This has nothing to do with SOE.

I'm with Rabia on this one. If you are going to go into business you better learn how to deal with stupid people, pushy people, impatient people, and unreasonable people. Simply requesting a resolution or response over and over is not sufficient reason to get banned. Being insulting and profane is.
If you don't want to deal with impatient customers, I recommend you not bother starting a business as most customers ARE impatient, stupid jerkwads with attitude problems. Just hit the delete button on the repeat request and move on. Responding to it takes EVEN MORE time.

Exactly. If someone does something that violates their rules, they don't hit delete, but "reply with ban threat", and user gets flagged. If they do it again, it's ban.
They do this exactly to save time. Time is measured in number of tickets processed. By cutting a person off, you solve that problem.
Keep in mind something else.
This is stated in their rules. Before leaving, I reported all 30-something exploits known to me at that time, including complete steps to reproduction. To the best of my knowledge, they were never resolved. I also received response on several of these reports, to no longer report "that particular" issue, or I may be banned.
But when you do report an exploit, you're creating a ticket in different department than help with in-game issues. That department has strict no-spam rule, which doesn't apply to most other departments. It states that clearly before you submit the ticket. I think there's even a ToS sheet that apears before you can even enter anything in the fields.
There are certain exploits that they know about, but they will not fix. Double class is one of them. They have stated, they are aware of it, but they will not fix it. If you send a bug report on that, you'll get a warning. If you report it again, you'll get banned. This only applies to exploits that they are aware of. In my case, they didn't know about at least 20 of them.

I am not a F^$&n newbie to SWG or any other game, i was there then eq 1 came, just didn't have the internert to run it or a pc that was good. SO Eat a fatty. (elder jedi, got screwed by soe more then your blow-up)

my 3rd post was heard. A SWG GM (OMG) came in and took my account for 20min(again the Ingame screen print buttin is bugged by soe and so half of the screen shots take) but I was nerfed AKA fixed by soe, SO i was not double stacked with stats.
For you newbies to the Less then perfact Expertise system. I was Imperial when chapter 2 hit, SO I was given dark path points auto. SO I went to use my 5 free respects.....
(is this easy to read for you short Bus special kids, who think your the kool kid with 2000 post?)
So when I respected .... choose the smartest template, All general(lightsaber ++++ dmg) and the rest in Lightside powers.....Uber newbular 10k heals.......
I was still out-bested by most rebel players.....WANA KNOW WHY.....well if your the slow kid here......
Here is how it works. If your where rebel before the Chatper 2 Ubernewbular expertise system then You were given mostly lightside powers....SO when you used the npc respec to a different expertise stats. YOU Orignal stats from before the respec stay wth out you knowing....SO a lot of Imperial jedi can use force cloak and force lightening 7 and Choke garrote 7with out spending points...and omg can you read? The rebels had pre stats in lightside powers and when they respec , they still have lightside powers whne they respec(mainly defence and saber dmg........Wow how is LS dmg in lightside powers?) SO when they add points back into the Lightside path then there double stack with out knowing.
Making a lot of Elders Unbeatable.....and some BH(for newbies Bounty Hunter), I for one was one with double stack, I had respected my points into Lightside powers, even though Im Imperial(Lucas is one sided on everything, thats why they nerfed AT-ST's) and I had all the dark side powers plus, LS throw that did dmg(OMFG IS DOESNT DO 1 DMG ANYMORE) and I also had force cloak.
OMG F-ME RUNNING FOR TRYING TO HELP!
I filed a few tickets , the 3rd one gettin someones attention. The GM took me account, NERFED my double stacks then, tells me its cause of a Charactor transfer I had used before.
SO I MADE MY 4th and last ticket I made.

They told me totaly opposite of this ticket before, basicly, In this ticket the told me that it wasn't from my charactor transfer.... SO WTF.....let me add another screen shot......
All in all Im tryin to warn everyone SOE hasn't changed and they dont care.....
My account was suspened for 8 days for calling some one the three letter J word.
My name was nerfed From -Sith- to some random name, YET< They left my ingame cities name as "SITH-OUTPOST' While I see another player with the name... TKclone Commando....hasn't been nerfed yet.....
SO SOE can suspened and ban my account, threatin me for trying to help and NERF my name yet, not fix a huge issue ingame.....
SO F-OFF , I Support any roll back
PS I own on Day of defeat, Names "Prick-Of-Death" as of old, but new its Dude of Defeat, Bring it ladies, least I can't be cheated on DOD source......

Firstly, no, your expertise points as a Jedi are not determined by your faction when you first login after Chapter 2. Every lvl 90 pre-Chapter 2 Jedi is assigned the same boxes to give you the same abilities you had before the publish. Elder Jedi get nothing special with the expertise.
Did it ever occur to you that your template just might not be as good as you seem to think it is? If you went all general and only some from the Path trees then you were missing out on some pretty decent specials.
Read your post, there's a alot of fluff in it though that makes it hard to understand what you're trying to say :P
What do you consider "dobule stacked" with the expertise? The only one I know of is if you server transfer then respec, but it's unrelated to the Expertise stuff.

I hate the NGE but I wont knock a player if they want to play it. Obraik likes the game and we dont see eye to eye as far as that goes but DUDE....hello. If you would have read the forums here you would know that Obraik is from New Zeland.

Go back and play your pathetic excuse for a game. After reading through the whole post I have to say, even as much as I cant stand SOE and what the game has become, I believe the GM that responded to you probably was in the right with their ban.
SOE will threaten you for:
-creating a CRS ticket
-posting a thread in the SWG forum complaining about the CRS response that never came
-posting in the SWG forum at all
-being angry about the NGE state of affairs
-being sad that you are leaving the game
And finally they'll send their NGE fanboys over here to mmorpg.com and rain fire and death upon all and any who tries to opposse them.
