Another pet peeve of mine is Kryat. For the Love of God it is spelled K-R-A-Y-T people! Pronounced "crate" not "cry at".

I remember back in the days, I was with a guildmate in SWG figthing Famba, but this guy was using some kind of chemical substance and he was screaming in my ears "MAN LOOK AT ALL THESE FLAMBA MAN!!! IM GONNA KILL ALL THESE FLAMBA!!! MAN SO MANY FLAMBA EVERYWHERE!!!!"
Even without chemical substance he was calling them Flamba but atleast he wasn't shouting.

I know it gets on peoples tits but you have to remember that not all the people that post on forums and play the games have perfect English. This maybe because they are not from an English speaking country, you know there are far more of them than us!!
I was born and brought up in the UK, but decided that drinking and sex were far better than school, I was right of course they are better, but it still means that I am a 25 year old male that cannot spell in his own language properly. Wonder how many other people there are that have the same problems.
And why make a post about it anyway, so some people cannot spell, im sure they are aware of it, as I am, and they are trying to sort it out. But it gets a damn sight harder to learn new things after you get the job and the house and everything that goes with it, like no time, plus you get stuck in your wys, if you spell something wrongly for so long it becomes natural to spell it wrong.
And just for the record always called it GEO Labs, said it and will continue to say it as thats wat I remember it as, plus the world does not stop spinning if I say it wrongly does it.
My biggest pet peeve was when we were placing a factional base down and some people started saying...I"ll buy a few "turrents" for it....do you want a small 'turrent' or a large one....

I've seen wordings like these:

The removal of ' is also quite dangerous, especially when writing anything else but forum posts, where such notation is not really accepted.
To elaborate: the OU versions are Brittish spellings. The O versions are USA spellings. Both are correct.
