It doesn't matter if you have 50 million buttons on your UI. You only need to use like 5 or 6 of them.

I'll admit that about eve... but thats just my opinion, people enjoy it so i will point it out to people who haven't played it... but about the other 2
Why do i like Cov? Fun pve that doesnt take 2 minutes per enemy(AVs/EB/GM/heroes are the exception but that hardly counts), with practically no downtime, and with good storylines(sometimes). Cool super powers, and the best char creation in a combat focusd mmo.
Why do i like GW? I get to fight people without having to wait 10-30 minutes per battle. I get to create a character to play how i like it and throw it against players(tho i admit there are a bit too many touchers for my taste. and Rts have ruined random arena imho.)
I'm not going to say why the other games are not looking good to me... but just my prediction, vanguard will be the next flop. And then the rest of the games that come after that will see its failure and work harder on their release/delay it a bit more... just my opinion...

Yeah... Get to 60 and endgame or try a different class. Some are more fun than others
If you havent played EVE yet, then at least try it - you wont have played anything like it.
I played WoW for a bit and found it boring - there is simply not enough depth to keep me interested, and the end game is too easy to get to, and the missions to do it are tedious.
You will never max out in eve and if you geet bored with a particular part of the game you have been playing, then try something else - no need to re-roll - just learn other skills.
You are doing yourself a great dis-service if you dont even try it - never has a game given such an adrenaline rush as eve.. and its free for 14 days...

should try tweak your settings a bit since you have a good system for eq2 but need to adjust your settings.
i quit wow about 2 months ago i had level 50 rogue i found repititive and actuly quite boring and VERY item based slow paced game....
i wanted too start a new MMo but like SWG and everquest i would be too far behind considering all the new exp that have came out...
so i desided too look at some of the new mmo's that are coming out b4 the end of 2006....

Dunno what you're talking about. My spec is way below yours and I have no lag with EQ2 so either your broadband connection is below par or your graphics are turned up too high. Remember that no current computer spec (as I understand it) is high enough to handle all EQ2 at highest settings - this is called 'future proofing in some circles).
