well, i will just try to tell you guys what i think after reading those 8 pages.
i disagree:
- CoV and CoH are the worst mmorpg i ever played. You talk with the guy, he says kill the mob and you go and kill, after that you repeat the process untill you are bored (and i did that..)
- EVE suck, its really bad, the skill system its about TIME PAYING (in-game or off-game) cause you chose the skill and sleep, after that you chose another one and sleep (it keeps pretty much like that)
- MMORPG is not about finishing it as the first post guy said.
i agree:
- there is basically no mmorpg "playable" right now, they are all grind fest gay korean/chinese mmorpg
weelll..
lets wait untill we have lotr, war hammer, darkfall, stargate, archlord (im still sad i wasnt one of the guys who got beta account on the mmorpg.com promo), AoC, etc..
Originally posted by mijam7 I quit playing EQ2 over a year ago. Would it be possible to start over again and still find community and fun in the early levels??
Very doubtful.
On the PvP servers you have more of a chance, but even there the community is realy starting to get higher level. On the PvE servers i'd deffinitly go with a big "no". It's possible, but not likely.
IMHO you still can't beat City of Heroes and City of Villains for your money! I have been playing it almost two years and still find it highly addictive! I've tried other games, WOW, SWG, Anarchy, EVE, to name a few, they hold my attention for a bit, but I always end back up in Atlas Park. If you haven't tried on a cape and tights yet I suggest you give this game a try
hey man...i totally hear what u saying...it sucks...i hate that feeling....if i HAD to recomend something....ewww i hate even saying this...but im playing right now so i will lol...EQ2......not for long though....just untill vanguard or something better comes out hehe.....i was so disapointed in EQ2...i loveee!!!! eq1~!!~~~!!....i grew up on eq1.......mmmmmm EVERQUEST>>>KUNARK>>>>VELIOUS>>>LOVEEEE...ok creepy..lol...anyways..yeah check it out..good for quick high and better then wOW cause less retarded young ppl playing....and graphics kick ass too....so check it out...and then VANGUARD....mmmmm vanguard.....sorry everyone ive been drinking.
Silk Road Online desirves a try yes it gets boring but after many many months of grinding...really it depends on the person you can always make it fun by doing trade runs and performing your jobs but its not like all typical korean games it is really a good game...give it a try

Actually, I'd say that Silkroad is a perfect example of a typical Korean MMO.
