i must either be right or blind...
I was reading up on Thrones of Chaos, and it is a pvpers dream 
. but i am curious why it's not on the MMO to be released list? i guess i must be blind. but i promise i did not see it.
those of you hardcore pvpers should check it out if haven't look www.thronesofchaos.com
it looks great to be honest, mounts, no load zoneing pure skill its rather nice i think. lol
If any can answer this, it will be greatly appreciated. thanks

It's not on here because it's a rehash of Mourning and after that debacle, they won't get on here until they have a finished game with satisfied subscribers. Your best bet after this is to not even mention that game here because you will be flamed to no end

No, they go beyond Sony. They purposely ripped people off with no intentions of ever delivering a game. People pre-ordered and got re-writable dvds with the buggy ass client on it. The main people such as Egomancer and Dave were total asshats and did nothing but insult their customers if they dared to speak up about the apparent scam. The advertising for the game is paid by the ToC devs. MMORPG.COM does not endorse them, only charges them money to advertise, which is funny since here it's just a waste of ToCs money
In fact, they were here about a week2 weeks while MMORPG.COM investigated and mulled over whether this was a truly new team or just the old asshats. As you can see, MMORPG.COM booted them, so that kinda answered that question.

lol I think what he meant was that, usually threads about ToC are made by trolls just trying to get a flamewar going and that you seem to be the first one who was asking a genuine question and not a stealth shill.
Heh, and as long as we are here, I still think Mourning and DnL had some kind of connection. The Mourning devs were just too happy to laugh at the people waiting for DnL, calling it vaporware from the very beginning. Or it could be it takes one to know one
Edit: random thought: have any of you ever noticed the striking similarities between that Mourning thread and the DnL threads? Both games, with small differences in execution, almost operated start to finish like they came from one master plan.
You know, i don't really have anything to go on except what has been plastered all over the forums between these two games, but it does make me raise an eyebrow. It just seems like one hell of a coincidence with them both one after the other.

Different IP? lol, wtf does that prove? The facts are, it looks the same, it has same concept (lore, functions, features etc), it feels the same, mourning has gone by god knows how many name changes by now so ToC is nothing new in that sense.
And mourning was removed from MMORPG.com for the exact reasons mentioned earlier, theres propably dozens of threads about it. Oh and it was removed TWICE.
The developers of DnL didnt scam anyone, to my knowledge anyway, they just couldnt deliver what they promised. Mourning devs on the other hand lied, made threaths, insulted, scammed and so on.
And now it seems that there is this one guy with multiple accounts advertising ToC in Darkfall forums and Hypemeter with an obsession that goes far beyond of any ToC vanboi, that is he is propably ToC dev. So excuse me if im little wary when i see someone praising ToC.
Well good,I'm glad there will soon be a ToC board here. All the trolls and followers can post there and the trolls stop bugging other boards. They'd better be prepared for a severe backlash/flaming in their board however.
It appears ToC has announced closed beta signups,interestingly. Sounds like they're getting something into gear,although when said closed beta begins would be nice to know. (I heard December?)

The so called "New company" called LoudAntSoftware's staff members are still spamming forum boards (such as mmorpg.com, and more) with pointless posts saying nothing else but one liners such as "this game will be the best www.thronesofchaos.com" and "this game will pwn all www.thronesofchaos.com". No normal fan would do that.
if you ask me, loudantsoftware = limitless horizons (the old developers of Mourning)
in fact, just take a look at joshuaPhiil's post history. over 50% of his posts contain a link to thrones of chaos. notice how he says "pro developers" hahaha.
There is something to be said of the mourning is the same old game theory. Not only does Loud Ant not have a business license of any sort (at least Oregon and NC government sites make no mention), they are not registered with Oregon, the board of commerce or the BBB. The addresses listed on the LoudAnt site turn up nothing but a parking lot and a 1-room home in North Carolina. LoudAnt name was completely and utterly non-existent before mourning. Less then 5 enteries. All LoudAnt mentions refer back to Thrones of Chaos or Mourning on Google. To top this, the publisher is secret and is unannounced according to developer that is no doing the PR for ToC. That LoudAnt guy refuses to answer these simple questions for me and another that asked what is up the lack of creditials behind this company. If I am incorrect, I would like an response.

All his posts have links to mourning or flame other developer's games. Sounds alot like what Egomancer did to DnL and DarkFall.
Interesting. You could gather all your information I suppose and make a topic about it on the ToC website. See how LAS reacts to it. (if he reacts at all/locks the thread. He seems to me the type to handle criticism,but....)
Honestly, I don't think the Loudant team are spamming other websites. This joshuaphiil guy is catnips on the ToC forums. You can tell because these two posts are the same,

And I guess we'll see if and when ToC is allowed back here, won't we? I don't believe it just 'cause LoudMouthSoftware says they are going to be listed again. The people running MMORPG.COM already said they could come back, but also gave them requirements to do so. Requirements that apparently haven't been met yet. But, hey. They can have their game listed and have their own forum. See how much they accomplish with it when the rest of the MMORPG.COM forum community comes to say "Hi".
