I'm a life long gamer and I have frequently become bored with games. The best solution, IMO, is to just do something else for awhile. Take a break from games and read a book series, go camping, visit an S&M bondage store. Whatever floats your boat.
After awhile, computer games will become more appealing again.

Ive been pondering buying Battlefront 2 for my fix since its only $20 now, but I know ill get sick of it in a week or so like everything else. I just got home from work. And overnight and during the day I decided Id rather suffer a bleeding asshole than subscribe to the NGE. Like I said earlier, it isnt SWG im specifically looking to play, just any damn game that is good. As somebody pointed out, I think wildcat, NWN2 is comming out soon, ill be snagging that for sure, I think Spore is comming out soon as well, and hopefully I can get my hands on a Wii in November.

I deleted my character when the NGE hit. I tried it for about 4 days, thats all it took.
Loged right in, made sure I had all my best stuff on her, logged out, and hit delete. She took a Firespray, full suit of RIS, best Elite Carbine on the server, a DE-10, ADK, and 40 million credits with her.

What i find interesting is that when you take the time to actually set everything correctly (ui, mods, etc...) the game is not that bad. It does not have that the "freedom" of pre-cu, but it's playable now for sure.

A person coming back now after they have implemented alot of their plan and cancelling before the month is out speaks MORE to them then a person that never came back. That means they lost a customer twice and the changes they made did not make the person want to keep playing. So there was nothing wrong with Obraik's point.
