The reason why you neve abbreviate in a official open message is that people may not know what they are. Its would have been fine to say Blueprint Original(BPO) and the use BPO in the rest of the message as the abbreviation has been explained for those who may not know it. Hell first time I saw BB I thought they were talking about a battleship as BB is a common naval abbreviation for Battleship.
And in this case the abbreviation in the news item is totaly irrlevent because the OP has stated more than once he did not know the differnace anyhow. Also he did not read the message.
He did it to himself pure and simple even if he did have the full name rahter than the abbrevation and a click through message he would still have been screwed simply by not knowing what the differance was or knowing how to tel the diffrence.
It was placed in the forums and a news articule with the word "explot" was in the title in a place every player has to pass to get into the game (hey come to think of it theres your click through).
Self inlicted ban, chirst he even tried to blame the responders in newbie chat for what happened, did not question BPO/BPC when it was used in newbie chat, tried to blame any guides that may have been on newbie chat at the time for not picking it up in newbie chat when some one told him to explot (which from his extract they did not do anyway) etc...
He screwed up its that simple and he got a temp ban for a temp crash and burn offense and is trying to spin it into a game wide issue.
But pne last thing what I do when i see a abbrevation I don't know is ask or look it up, you know that unny thing called self help?

Honestly, if you see this message that states its a high priority issue, don't take the time to read the message which pretty clearly states the meanings of the abbreviations, then you probably didn't even read the message.
It's pretty sad that even as a CS Manager you are trying to put blame on other people. You probably didnt read the message, or atleast didnt read it well. You took advice from unreliable people, and you sold an item calling it something you didnt even understand. Again, as a CS Manager I hope you arent telling customers stuff you don't know anything about.
