I can't wait to run around and impale people with my spear on my great big arse (realistic) warhorse.
Nor can I wait to takes someone's town and land from them. Will bring back the gold old days of pre-SL Anarchy Online.

AoC and WAR will be different and hard to compare, now is too early to talk what is better. But I think that WAR will force more cooperation beetwen realmates, so better chance there for really epic battles, like relic raids were in DAoC.
Warhammer. The game, even the PvE, is all based around the PvP aspect. When completing most quests in the PvE setting it is going to contribute something to your PvP forces. The game also includes actual PvP quests and objectives that will give out XP.

Agreed. Why isn't this survival of the fittest? I want to be able to attack, kill, and loot anyone that looks at me funny. Hey, is that fat kid lagging behind the rest of the pack? PHAT LEWT!
Seriously, why would I want to have to cooperate with a group? I don't want friends! This MMO is about me! Damn the massive multiplayer component of this game, damn it to heck!
none of these games are really PvP.Now if i had to choose between these three like if there is no other game out there: AoC is just a BS single player/conditional PvP mmorpg, arclorrd is made in korea , so i guess i would vote for war
- Skirmishes: Incidental PvP combat - Battlefields: Objective-based battles in the game world - Scenarios: Instanced, point-based battles balanced with NPC Dogs of War - Campaigns: The invasion of enemy lands culminating in the assault on their capital city
Undertake a wide variety of PvE quest types related to an army's war efforts, including:
- Public quests that benefit from the participation of the entire army - Conflict quests that pit players against an enemy with opposing goals - Branching quests that let you choose the outcome of the quest and your reward - Xmas quests that reward exploration with high value loot
This Is from WarHammer, which i guess seems simple enough. The in realm PvP looks as if it is predetermined by the quest, not just random griefing, or how it appears to me. And then there is the RvR.
If AoC can pull of what it is "attempting" as stated in that gamespy interview, they have the potential to change the whole MMo PvP system, with "auto leveling" gankers, providing options, and grouping your charicter off how you play the first 20 lvls.......I think someone is thinking over there, hopefully not overthinking.
And as far as Archlord goes with their "semi"open PvP, it got way out of control in beta, because they let everyone know there was going to be a wipe. However if you over griefed you gained villan points which limited the rest of your play, and if you just couldn't control yourself, they basicly disabled your character. Archlord, in my opinion has bigger problems than how it ranks on a PvP poll, but is designed for major Guild battles and PvP wars, if the sever can handle it.
I think if they can pull it of ? AoC will have it...
The Cronicals of Spellborn... PvP with PvP Looting? If you are a die hard PK'er maybe that, i can be a bit of a carebare at times! not for me.

Nothing more need be said.
There is no competition.
