Has anyone noticed that wow is kinda fizzling out.  I have 3 60s and IMO its just all the same thing over and over..  Any comments from other players.  This is Not meant to be a bash on wow thread.  But just wondering if other pepole are feeling the same way.

Welcome to MMORPG.com where 99% of the users HATE WoW for many different and unique reasons!

    ::::02::

    My Reasons:
-Dumbed down game. There is nothing to anything besides 1v1 PVP, but that's a joke see next reason.
-No Real PVP. No Alignment. Where is this "War" they boast about? OHHHHH You mean that minigame. Ok. I c.
-Crafting is a joke. This this this makes this, but you gotta make this first. Wow. Lots of innovation there.
-There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you or the entire Faction can do to have any lasting effects on the game. Ok, raid IF....... Then you leave. What happens then?

ok I see im not alone... most of what you said is how i feel...  I feel that this 'WAR" they speak of is only as long as a BG then your back to.. ho hum what do I do.  and since they have gone cross-server BG its all Nuts.  if you dont get there first all you hear is "We Lost let them win so we can do another one"  Umm what am I missing here.  Are we Not supposed to try and defeat the oppesing (sp) faction  Oh no thats right we are just here for Tokens we get for winning or loseing.  Ok Ok I will stop but glad to see im not alone

Yep. Its approaching its second birthday and it is looking tired. While, IMO, it is the best MMO technically ever produced it lacks the depth to hold players longer term. There is the expansion coming soon but I don't see any significant gameplay changes that will bring back players that have already left.

If I'd have account with three lvl 60 I'd sell it.

See multiple threads about teh lameness of selling gold/items/accounts. lol

The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling

I left WoW and Im not looking back.  Went to the old guild forums today and it looks like people are really just playing it becasue of everybody else does.  A lot of people seem to be tired of it.  That said,  I think many are holding out to see if the espansion improves their experience.

I actually tried WoW and just found it so so lame. Did not last very long. It was to kiddy style for me. In looks as well as gameplay.

After seeing so many people say stuff like that, it kept me from trying WoW. Now I'm glad not one minute of my time was wasted on it.

I left then recently I've resubscribed for a month. The PVE and world I just generally don't go much on so I play for the pvp which unfortunately is really messed up. 10-19 and 20-29 is dominated by twinks. I'm at 40-49 and played about 40 games which as alliance won only one of them. So yeah, now my enjoyment cannot be derived from pvp unless I reroll the classes I enjoy on alliance on Horde then I'm not sure I'm going to stay much longer either.

i played wow up to a few months ago and i loved clearing MC whit my guild and we had a blast together... but after BWL and AQ it just got old.... imo what makes a mmo good is the guild ur playing whit but it would be nice to have somting for the guilds to do. WoW has no pvp worth mentioning and the pve is 1% fun and 99% boring grind...

Yes woW is definetly sizzling out. Just in the past year the game went from 7 000 000 users to 6970000 when they all were tired of such a horrible game and went to play the best game ever made EVE.  WoW is literally on its knees right now ready to  die.  I predict that in the next 20 years the entire woW population will migrate from woW to EvE.

It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

I actually found levels 1-59 fun once, maybe twice. WoW does have its merits. It's the edgame that is pretty much a wash. Think of WoW like the McDonalds of MMO's; it's fast and reliable. Just don't expect to get a gourmet meal.

that is rediculous. at the same time, 7 million people are enjoying the game (which is, FYI, over 50% of the mmorpg market), where a few people on this site don't like it. play the game, and  decide for yourself.

Yeah, life as a mindless sheep working well for you?

How long as WoW been out guys?  Nothing is going to hold your interest forever.   Don't get me wrong, I realize that a lot of people simply salivate over any opportunity to bash anything popular, but I'm mainly speaking to the people who have just genuinely grown tired of the game.

One thing is very stupid about WoW, the level limit, why they just don't raise it to 100, with BC you can get to level 70, but the hardcore WoW players will be level 70 in no time.

Ah my fellow resident troll -

Respect to you, but the fact is the WOW is losing customers.

Nothing really worrying (to blizzard) but out of desperation i tried playing WOW AGAIN month ago.

And withness with my own eyes that population halved to say at least. Also big number of people that still play are ready to jump the ship in the moment a new MMO comes out.

I mean MMO with same quality - not crap that apeals to minority of players like eve and sor

Keep in mind that half of the WoW population (if not more) had never played an mmorpg before, WoW reminds me of EQ, where raiding for equipment was the main target, and with expansions all you got was new level cap and new zones with more and better stats :D

70 is "rumored" to take as long as 1-60.  Which still isn't too long.

Really, the thing is, there is no "point" to MMOs.  You can't "beat" them, so you need something to strive for.  For some its thats new sword of pwnage.  For some its the elite pet or mount.  For most (at least in the beginning) its that "top tier/level".  If its too high, then people will get burned out and end up quitting far sooner than they would normally.

Oh, and nILaRT, you speak like someone who hasn't done any research of BC, yet still exist in sharing your opinion with us.  Congratulations.  You are now officially a mmorpg.com poster.

It's funny, someone mentioned Wow is the devil and blizzard is satan in this thread.  I've always been amazed how whether it's Blizzard, Microsoft or other companies on top of their industry get bashed from the lesser players.

I guess I don't see any of those comments as valid since the numbers support themselves.  I agree that WoW is a dummied down game and that the end game is just repititious grind, so I'm not supporting or bashing Blizzard.

But there's something about the waste of a post when the 'Devil' or 'Evil Empire' comments just seem like such a sad waste to me.  Are we really suffering that bad..?

Get out there and play the hell out of something; play it like there's no tomorrow.
