I played for around 10hrs and soon became tired of the 'same old same old'. I think it's an okayish 'filler' game until the "next big thing" hits the shores but I doubt it will be a blockbuster of it's own.

I played in beta and then for the first month and quite enjoyed myself, however, the game runs soooo poorly that I couldn't justify the money per month so cancelled my account. Unless they improve the performance, and graphics, I won't be going back…
The state of the servers is attrocious at the moment. Lag galore and queues to get online - 40mins plus in some cases.
I wouldn't rush to buy this game, the developer doesn't seem to care about its money paying community.
I agree with _myco - once the marketing department get a hand in things, they start making mainstream games that are dumbed down and appeal to the broad mass market.
WoW and EQ2 are prime examples.

I agree with several of the above posters - don't play an online game while you're still studying. Go outside, meet people and have fun. You'll have plenty of time to play once you're working, and there may be better games available!
I found the world environment of WoW attractive but the gameplay is tiresome. The community leaves a lot to be desired and you may as well play a good solo offline game for the amount of interaction that occurs.
